    ZFG AO + Intercooler Gains?

Gearhead seems to get pretty good reviews and looks like it may be a cheaper option for their AO + E50 tune. I'm guessing easier install too, I'm a novice and may end up going this route unless someone can talk me out of it.

    ZFG AO + Intercooler Gains?

Unfortunately I can't find an answer, how quick are the tunes to install and uninstall? I would go with a 93 if it is quick to install and uninstall but I don't want to be forced to run with 91 or 93 fuel. Also can anyone comment on the shifting of ZFG tunes? Is it comfortable if just daily...

Wife hit a deer... intercooler time.

Is a CAI worth it if doing intercooler and ZFG tune? Wanting to stick to auto octane as most of the time wife just drives to work and couldn't care less so don't wanna be stuck buying 91 or 93. Really like the looks of the new S&B CAI. Would love to break 450 HP. Better yet 500 but doesn't sound...

    ZFG AO + Intercooler Gains?

Adding likely a CVF intercooler (possibly Steeda or Whipple) and interested in the DMS ZFG tunes. How much more power can I expect on an auto octane tune? Texted ZFG and no response. Wanting to get this all ordered and coming soon. I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Wife hit a deer... intercooler time.

Thanks for the replies. I will probably go with the Whipple or Steeda. Talking with a body shop here soon. Texted ZFG waiting on a response.

Wife hit a deer... intercooler time.

Also want the best bang for buck intercooler. Surely the body shop will just let me pay the difference and not give me a hard time for not going back to OEM?

Wife hit a deer... intercooler time.

Not worried about warranty. Just want the best shifting highest performance auto octane tune.

Wife hit a deer... intercooler time.

Thankfully she is fine. Air bag did not deploy. She was going about 50 and it really did a number on her car. I hope repairs turn out good and undetectable. I won't be happy unless everything is perfect. I will absolutely use this as a reason to upgrade though. Wish it wouldn't have happened as...

Wife hit a deer... intercooler time.

Wife hit a deer on the way to work this AM. Intercooler, radiator, and whole front end is trashed. Thankfully my wife is fine. Now is the time to do an intercooler - can't imagine OEM being super cheap so the cost will be already partially covered in my opinion. What is the best option and...

    ZFG Auto Octane MPG

Okay so is the ZFG auto octane worth it over the ford tune?

    ZFG Auto Octane MPG

Ya think? Assuming the same driving habits are we looking at a increase or decrease that is my question.

    ZFG Auto Octane MPG

For those of you with the ZFG Auto Octane have you noticed a drop in MPG? Really considering the tune but the ST is my wife's daily driver. Don't want weird shifting or worse MPG than stock. I can't imagine it being much different, as all the diesel trucks I have tuned only get equal or better...

    Warranty denial?

So does ZFG not leave any trace or what do you mean safe to tune away?

    Warranty denial?

With all the concern of warranty being denied on a family vehicle just because of a tune, does anyone actually have any experience of this happening? Couldn't you just flash back to the stock tune before taking the car in for warranty work? Would they really look that hard? Most of these...

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

When the ford tune is installed is it just one tune that renders the drive modes useless? Or does it just impact sport mode? In a perfect word I would like a tune that increases sport mode, don't care if it takes 93 to run decent. But I want it to revert to normal for better MPG as this is my...

    Buying used in Q4 2022?

Used car prices are starting to drop quickly. Just be patient if buying used. Even if financing I'm betting the increase in rates will be worth it a year from now when prices are considerably less. Better yet - save your $ for 6 months or a year and then buy when things get closer to normal and...

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

Seems to be mixed reviews on the ford tune, my wife's explorer is brand new and I would like to keep my warranty and be able run any fuel. How noticable is the Ford performance tune? Thanks for any input!

    Buying used in Q4 2022?

66k? I'm assuming that is based on a 61K ish sticker price? Don't get screwed. Some dealers are a waste of time, but I bought a brand new one with cash yesterday. (Love it so far BTW) Sticker was 61,755. They gave me the average KBB and JD for my trade and I got over 3K off the sticker. I was...
