Hey @rasparks0967 do you notice the center console "elbow" rest shake while driving? That is not normal, It was a common side effect in mine. Oddly the steering wheel was never that bad, but the console was bad... at least until whatever it was warmed up (or whatever voodoo magic receded)...

I had my driveshaft replaced. The bad vibration was gone for a week or 2. Although there was still a very mild one we could feel. I hope that fixes your issue. We have decided to settle with Ford, they are screwing me out of $3500, but its that or 2 years in the legal system.

I hope they don't yank you around like they did with me. That was how they started. Do a vibration "test", they swapped 2 drive shaft components. And even though the vibration was random, they changed the tires and wheels??? I was excited to hear the outcome of swapping the transfer case out.

Thought I'd update: Ford says they are going to do a buy back. They said it at the end of December. Still waiting for any news. I can also so that I was told by Ford that they are dealing with around 600 claims a day. Is it me or does that seem crazy? I am sure some are bogus, but still 600...

@Stoffius mine issue only happens between 37-42 MPH. I did have a shake at 80 MPH, but when the did the initial rebalance that one went away. Let us know the outcome, maybe the leak is a separate issue, or a side effect of something else?

@Magnetic that is great info! And adds up too. Some of us on here, including myself, say that the vibration goes away after a while, if a "sticky" fluid is cold it will do that and as it warms up go away. I am only guessing but lean the way vs the slack in the CV. Only because I have done...

I, and others have a different type of vibration issue than you do. You can see that thread here https://www.explorerst.org/threads/2022-driveline-vibration-37-42mph.3147/ It's crazy how many vibration issues the Explorer line has in the last couple years.
