    Front Tow Hook

Yep, that damned fascia, too bad the hook bracket was not out when I put my intercooler on. Cheers

    Front Tow Hook

Works for me both ways and I will change it depending on conditions. It is easy to screw it in during the summer, but would be a pain in frozen conditions with ice in the threads. One sees more of them at the track, on a number of fast stuff, and we have an event at Milan Dragway next month with...

    Front Tow Hook

Since the weather is breaking, I may put it inside (with the rear shackle) and put my non-hole cover on. The ST is actually my dog training truck and I spend a bit of time in fields, but am pretty good at not getting into bad areas. Just had a little snow last week though, the kind that makes it...

    Front Tow Hook

Finally have a front Tow Hook from ZL1addons Ford Explorer Tow Hooks – ZL1 Addons Living in Michigan during the winter, there is always a chance that one will end up off the road due to ice or avoiding someone else. The Explorer ST has no place to hook on to, and grabbing the front lower...

    Locking diff upgrades on ST?

I believe the Timberline version of the Explorer had a Torsen rear diff unit installed from the factory. Might check on that?? Cheers

    ST - Storm Trooper Build

We are on the same page for a front tow hook. My concern is about the mount being strong enough to at least pull one or someone else from a snow drift (as well as a tie down), here in Michigan. Were you able to find a strong mount? It seems like a block with threads for the hook could be bolted...

    ST front recovery points

This looks like the best solution, but it seems it will depend on where it comes out of the ST facia panel??

Newbie winter tire & wheel combination question

The Police Interceptors run 255/60R18s, working to find the balance between high speed stability and being able to jump curbs. Cheers, Tony

Newbie winter tire & wheel combination question

The AWD is rear dominant, but front drive balance changes with any slippage. Also, there is a setting for slippery/icey roads. My 2022 ST has worked rather well thus far, this winter, but I have a Tahoe work truck if the snow gets too deep. Cheers, Tony

SLD NEW AWR Diff Brace (Black)

Thanks for that. So, are you putting a different subframe, or one from a 2020?

SLD NEW AWR Diff Brace (Black)

So, what is the story on the rear subframe? How does that work? Thanks, Tony

    Has anyone changed exhaust tips?

Look Good! What size are they? Any change in the sound of the exhaust? Cheers, Tony
