No, the 2022+ Explorer or units that haf the TSB performed with AWD are full time AWD. The reason I asked if you were moving is these cars always love to hang out in the highest gear possible, so when you go to step on it it fumbles to get into a lower gear.

That doesn’t make sense. The springs are the same, which are what affect the ride height.

It’s not they don’t work, it’s that if they sense that you even make the littlest input to avoid whatever (braking, steering input, etc.), it’s going hands off and letting you take care of it. It really has to be imminent for it to kick in, at least that’s the improvements they made for it not...

The shocks are definetly blown. You can tell by the way the dirt accumulates specifically where it’s be leaking.
