Correct, it turns the unit off when the vehicle is turned off. I do not have a picture at the moment, but I'll try and remember to take one later.

There's a bunch of mirror tap kits out there, but I use SAVVY which plugs into my OBDII port. It's made by Valentine and you can set what speed you want the radar detector to automatically mute. It's super nice for sitting at stop lights, going slow by stores, etc... I normally find mine used...

I did not as it is powered via SAVVY which is plugged into the OBII port. I just hid the hard wire where it's not visible. I do know there are mirror tapping kits out there though.

I'm looking to upgrade the rear turn signal bulbs to LED since I have tinted my taillights. What bulbs are people using that I do NOT have hyper-flash? I do not have Forscan to get around it. Just looking for plug-in-play without any messing around.

My brother just got the two that he ordered and seems to like them so far. I want one for each of mine, but don't feel like spending the money. Let me know what you think about it.

They're just tips, and I'm pretty sure they're knock offs as they were very inexpensive and from China. They're actually pretty nice and make it look so much better.
