    Ellie the Explorer

Either set that people go with will do the trick, just fine. SPD is a GREAT product and has since fixed the issue. It was a mistake, overlooked and they've owned up too it. I would run SPD all day long, but I went with FenFab at the moment this was all going down, so to be safe, for me. That...

    Ellie the Explorer

It should be noted that the "First Round" of SPD pipes that are known to crack, were cracking because of bad welds. The lack of gas on the welds, apparently is what caused them to crack. Some cracked immediately, others are cracking after 10k miles. SPD is sending out new sets to people, but...

    Ford Performance Tune

Meh... Magnuson-Moss Act.. Everybody knows that! Take your vehicle to a Ford Performance dealer and be done with it. As for the 5* canned tune, you surely can feel the difference.. All the way to the Transmission as it feels it will fall out, every shift.. It's just a good name brand of a tune...

    Coilovers anyone ?

Now THIS.. Is Plausible. Good write up.

    Coilovers anyone ?

Then he/she needs to stop driving into craters bigger than the vehicle. Clearly facetious here on driving in craters but I have had both H&R and Steeda on my vehicle and have NEVER had any issues. I tow all the time, we drive it daily, we take it to the track and run it and nothing. Oh well...

    Coilovers anyone ?

Whomever is saying they're bottoming out when towing.

    Ford Performance Tune

How would it cause warranty problems? HaHa.

    Ford Performance Tune

Probably no different.. 5* is a canned tune all star... Ford's tune will be canned as well and give minimal power.. Just enough to feel as if you switched from Normal to Sport mode, a 2nd time. Pointless IMHO.

    Coilovers anyone ?

I'm on H&R with 22x10.5 and TOW all the time and I have never touched a Bump Stop. I have even towed OVER max and never hit once. Possible that person wasn't too familiar with towing, honestly? Don't read into it too much. Slap em on and have a nice ride.

Performance Tower Braces and Best Tuner for ST?

Welcome - As for Tuners and Tower Braces, you'll find a lot of information on the Explorer ST High Performance page on FB as well as the Explorer ST Forum. Both are really good and have some good admins. Be careful how you sneeze tho. Piss the right one off and you're gone. However - Back to...

    Coilovers anyone ?

Honestly... I'll wait for a good Strut. I live local to BC Racing and still have an IN to go there and Drop the ST off for R&D on Custom Coilovers.. however, they want the ST for minimum for 2 mos and I just can't justify that. With the H&R and RSB and a good strut, we'll be set. I've never...

    UPR Catch Can Install

Has anyone gotten any results from draining? I have the UPR installed with all extra goodies you can add. I checked the drain plug at or around 600 miles and NOTHING. It’s bone dry. Is that normal??

    Explorer ST Bulb Chart

I too replaced my License Plate bulbs, the day I got the vehicle, although the auto parts store only had bulb sizes for 2019... I took the bulb inside and compared it. What threw me off was that the housings that hold the bulbs in the License Plate bracket, seemed to be off. The right side...

    ST Accessories/Modifications

I'll chalk it up to being lucky then, but I don't regret having them either. They fit super snug and are amazing... Our Concierge manager at Elder Ford in Tampa is who sent them to us. They had to order them, but they arrived a few days after we got home from the Dealership. I took it as a...

    It’s the Wife’s!

Nice.. Thanks for the Welcome. I am hoping to see some "Regular" ST's around here. I got a buddy in Ford engineering who helps to do research on the parts/materials that go into these vehicles. He did some extensive research and when I saw the "Brakes, Wheels, and Radio" upgrade you get when...

    It’s the Wife’s!

Ha.. .I've got a Lifted F150, I can't part with. She likes to go fast and modify vehicles like me. It's a win/win. haha

    ST Accessories/Modifications

When we purchased our ST, the dealer shipped us Fords Version of WeatherTechs for Free - First, Second and Third Row. Is that not a normal thing?

New owner Sport mode/ turbo very underwhelming

Funny you mention that. My Wife took her ST into the Dealer the other day, because the LED housing under the driver mirror that logos "ST" on the ground, BROKE, when she closed the door.... Sadly, Ford has told her that these are custom made, and Dealerships don't carry them. They had to email...

    Oil Catch Can Thread

UPR has since updated there website to speak about the "Rare" orange connector that some vehicles have. It's not that hard to take it off. I've ordered my UPR for the ST and am awaiting it's arrival. From the reviews I've read on line and research I've done, UPR seems to be about the nicest...

    It’s the Wife’s!

Evening all.. glad to be around and an owner of a 2020 Explorer ST. Ole lead foot finally got out of her 2012 Edge Limited last night and into an ST. It’s her grocery getter but she knows I like speed and upgrades! Both our 5yr olds approve! Upgrades Coming (When all are out) 1. Intake 2...
