    Vanity Plate Names

In Arizona, getting a new personalized plate, after you already have one, is about a $3 difference. I change mine every year. I use a wheelchair or cane to get around, so sometimes I try to have fun with them... the last few have been: NOTLAZY JSTLAZY CNT JMP (on a Phoenix Suns plate) 28-884...

MagnaFlow Muffler/Resonator Swap and Stock Muffler Delete

I know folks know, but some don't.... I hope you're not going to the swanky speed shops on the nice end of town, looking for a bargain. You need to find a decent shop in a vaguely questionable part of town, where the owner and/or his family still do the work, run paper invoices, and might only...

I'm not kidding when I say buddies referred to it as a vacuum.... Bleh... It's not a racecar, but now it sounds refined enough to turn a couple heads.

It will probably sound somewhere between the S and the ATAK. Maybe a bit more like the ATAK. You basically described my setup. I spent $450 I would pay $500 for what you described. I think much more than that would be excessive.

MagnaFlow Muffler/Resonator Swap and Stock Muffler Delete

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ There’s not much drone deleting the mufflers and swapping a magnaflow Muffler into the stock resonator location. Add an x pipe prior and you’d probably have a better flowing setup than the Borla. Drive it around. Have them install a couple resonators...

    POLICE INTERCEPTOR ENGINE

Work just started retiring a few Tahoes... Like UNBROKEN said, the calipers appear to be as big as my street pack brakes, they are silver, and they squeezed them into 18” wheels! They don’t look bad, and the officers seem to like them. I think the only complaints have come from the bigger guys...

What’s the fastest you had your ST

Me too. My grandparents used to live in Eagles’ Roost, in Aguila. The Harquahalas are beatiful! Lots of fun trails out there!

What’s the fastest you had your ST

I feel you on those rural AZ roads. I got mine up to 130 on Eagle Eye Road, definitely in Mexico :ROFLMAO:, and that was fast enough on that on that rough and curvy, dip filled road...

Stupid question, do we have GDI engines?

I run Valvoline full synthetic, and I have a UPR catch can. After 1500 miles, I had about an ounce or two of oil and gas... ymmv...

I uploaded the video as an unlisted YouTube video. When I tested the link it seems like there is some distortion or clipping going on, but that may be related to connection. Here you go:

I was messing around to see what I could do with iMovie for work, and pumped this out... hopefully it inspires others to veer away from the off the shelf cat-backs...

Mine only really drones above 80mph/125kmph... and in those weird spots in sport mode, where the computer really should let you shift... like 45-51mph in 6th gear.

ALL YOU CATCH CAN GUYS; How much oil?

I opted for the clean side separator, dual check valves, and have the largest orifice PCV installed where the OEM check valve was. I drive pretty aggressively, rarely drive like a grandma, and punch it often. I’m located in a suburb just west of Phoenix, AZ, so we won’t have “cool” weather...

The shop charged me $450. That included the new muffler, black dual tips, pipe, hangers, and labor.

What did your Ford Explorer ST replace?

Nissan Frontier Pro4X She wasn’t nearly as fast or packed with tech, but with coilovers, remote resi shocks, and more off-road-bits, she liked the rough stuff!

CENTER HUB COVER ON STOCK WHEELS

https://www.explorerst.org/threads/explorer-st-black-lug-nuts-and-center-caps-info.451/#post-3784 Posts #2 and #4 Sounds like folks have had success with the flat 60mm center caps. Also, it seems like the amazon link shared was active as of this post.

UPR catch can and orange fitting solution.

Nice thinking with the wire hanger. I mangled a hose clamp to get a better footprint on the tabs, and had little to no success. I couldn’t hear the tabs disengage. I compared photos from the UPR pdf, and thought I was getting there. The only time I knew that I had gotten one is when I let up on...
