Transmission / Driveline Vibration Issue 2022 Ford Explorer ST

I just laid down next to the car on a cold start. You can definitely visually see (and feel) the drivers' side exhaust vibrating when it settles into the suspect 1200ish RPM range.

Transmission / Driveline Vibration Issue 2022 Ford Explorer ST

The rear bolt recall? Not sure that would be related, at least not with mine. I can hold the RPMs at 1150-1250 in park/neutral and feel the vibration. It's noticeable anytime the engine hits that range (cold starts, driving, downshifts, etc.).

Transmission / Driveline Vibration Issue 2022 Ford Explorer ST

Any follow-up from your dealer? I'm about ready to take mine in - it's driving me nuts.

Transmission / Driveline Vibration Issue 2022 Ford Explorer ST

Keeping the RPM’s up above 2k on downshifts does help to smooth things out when in motion, but I’ve definitely felt the same rough vibration on startup in park too. Even if the engine is in the suspect ~1150-1300ish RPM range, it shouldn’t be transferring vibration like that to the cabin. I hope...

Vibration at 1k RPMs & Briefly at Idle

Apologies for bumping an old thread (again). @soloji87, did you have this done?

Vibration at 1k RPMs & Briefly at Idle

Has anybody in this thread found a resolution? I can feel vibration/roughness through the pedals at low speeds/low RPMs, almost like the trans has it in too high of a gear. It's smooth over ~2000 rpms and at idle. Curious if there has been an resolution or TSB for this specifically.

    rattling moonroof

I added foam; likely to where you are describing - I found the factory foam and added a piece on top. Turns out, however, the rattle was coming from the rear panel itself. After lubing the seal on the exterior (rattle didn't resovle), I tightened the six 8mm bolts about 1/4 turn each and the...

    rattling moonroof

Thanks for the detail! I’m within 3/36k, but avoid dealer trips as much as possible, especially for something so trivial. I’ll poke around up there and add some foam. Edit: for anyone else trying to do this, venting the moonroof gives you much more space to add some foam vs. trying to do this...

    rattling moonroof

Mine sounds like it's coming from the interior crossbar trim piece rather than the moonroof itself (I doubt performing a panel reinitialization/alignment would solve anything). Might be a tall ask, but can you post a few picture with where the dealer fixed the foam pieces? I suspect that is all...

Rattling noise coming from underneath new Explorer ST!

Does anyone know when the flex pipe rattle was remedied from the factory? I have a 2022 (Nov 2021 build), and it rattles on cold starts. Want to check and see if my build should be immune to this before I start poking around under the car. It could always be a loose heat shield from when I...

H&R Springs & Bora Spacers Installed!

I'm running 1" front, 1.25" rear with H&R springs, and yes - the studs need to be trimmed to accommodate the 1" spacer. After seeing some photos here I decided 1.25" would be a bit too much poke on the fronts. I'll try and get some fitment photos for you tomorrow.

    MPVI3 and TDN issue

Looks like my issue was solved by an iOS update. ,After updating my phone, I was able to compete the initial setup of my RTD, read the stock calibration, and submit it to ZFG. (y) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    MPVI3 and TDN issue

Anybody know if a fix is pending with HP Tuners? Just curious before I have to go out and buy a cheap windows laptop; I was hopeful to use iOS for reading/loading the tune. My phone seems to connect with the RTD fine via bluetooth, but am getting the same "Sync Failed!" message when trying to...
