    Borla Exhaust Upgrade

I had a 2003 focus PZEV, intake, exhaust... bla bla bla... at about 40k miles it spun a bearing... Ford gave me no issues on a replacement motor (it took about 4 weeks, because they wanted to send one of their inspectors out)... The tech told me that the engine looked like it had 3000 miles on...

    Whipple Intercooler

Unfortunately the aftermarket for the previous explorers was very weak, it seems to have slowed down or stopped when they went to the uni-body over the body on frame, add in the death of the ranger (less crossover parts), and the only things that were available for the previous explorers was...

    Borla Exhaust Upgrade

Different Strokes for different folks... I personally think they (VQ) sound terrible with aftermarket exhaust... but love them in stock form.

    Borla Exhaust Upgrade

There is so much that goes into exhaust tuning, Especially for sound, the materials used, bends, length, and diameter all have to do with the performance and sound produced. There are V6s that sound great (early 350z with stock exhaust comes to mind, or most of the GM V6s from the early to mid...

    1,000 mile review

I have a couple pet peeves to add to this, they are minor, but they do bug me: Turn signal flasher in the dash does not sync with the exterior lights flashing, more discernible on the left than the right in my vehicle Having to push both the lock and close buttons on the tailgate, instead of...

Any Stage 3 upgrades known yet? COBB said they aren't doing it yet.

From the research and reading that I have seen both on this forum and off, it is probably held back by fueling issues, the fuel pump and injectors seem to be barely adequate for the vehicle in its stock form. Those things would easily add $1000-$1600 to the price of a stage 3 performance kit...

Street Legal Drags, Pomona CA, March 7th 2020

Hey fellow Southern Californians, Thought it would be awesome to get these beastly vehicles on the track and see what they do, and maybe a little meet and greet to say hi to others members around the area (or even out of the area if you want to make a trip to Southern Cali for the weekend and...

    Capless fuel tank issues?

I have also not experienced issues with either of my previous vehicles (13 F-150 and 16 Explorer Ltd) that had the capless system, I have yet to fill up but will be doing so today, will update if there are any issues. Though I usually have issues like that when there is a failure with the...
