It was surprisingly very easy with the swivel. Getting that damn foam out was the hardest part. And figuring out the one clip on passenger side. It was a screw on with a zip tie instead of a pop off.. took me a bit to figure that one out

oh you’re on an EV and not an explorer. There is an extra rebate for true X plan so it’s like 4500-5000 you’re saving in total. makes sense but also can’t help you friend, good luck.

Negotiate to invoice price to save even more. Or buy Ford stock and wait a few weeks and youll be eligible for Xplan (if thats still a thing)

That being said... logging in and immediately requesting it in two different spots is a bit suspect.

X-plan can be given to anyone.. A/Z gets audited. That being said.. dealer invoice price is lower than x-plan and most dealers will do that this day and age.

mine is lowered on steeda and only rubs on full turn and in reverse.. i since have rubbed a hole in the wheel well liner and now it doesnt rub anymore.

Coming from the world of a Ford dealership and meeting some of the on-site “engineers” they send… I trust these forums over any Ford rep/service tech/engineer
