I had seen the same void you did and I can now confirm that it was in fact, a puncture. I’m guessing that my tire was probably losing pressure and may have not be able to absorb the shock properly. This could explain why/how the wheel got bent.

Well… I ended up ordering an “OE Take Off” from RockAuto for $865.23 CAD. I spent another $50.17 for a new valve and tire balancing. RockAuto wouldn’t take my old wheel back because the bent is on the inside. I guess that’s a good justification on not attempting to fix it. Thanks for the help!

Ahhh, yes. I saw that and bought a kit to repair it. Then I saw the bent and realized the extent of the damage. What’s bugging me the most about it, is that it’s on the inside of the wheel that was on the driver side… I can’t figure out how it happened

I’m going to make a couple phone calls this week. It may be hard to find only 1 wheel… and buying it from the dealership will probably be ridiculously expensive.

I just tried the OTA and it seems to be downloading 4U5T-14G421-CAD_1615428059000.TAR.GZ. I'm guessing it's not going to keep downloading it if the vehicle isn't running or the power is shutoff...
