    Wider tires?

I've removed them, pretty shortly after install. The road film was obnoxious after a rain. Also, it may have been a coincidence, but my struts started knocking right after the new tires and spacers were installed. I loved the look, but still a bit leary of wrecking the new struts Ford bought me...

    FP Tune or ZFG?

How about DMS so you have both? I have normal mode running performance and sport running race. I'm not sure what ZFG does with the tranny settings in the drive modes. Normal is very daily friendly even with the performance tune. Feels stock until you step on it. Sport does seem to behave a bit...

    Wider tires?

Post #51 above has pics with 1.25" spacers all around

    Pirelli tires

The foam detached on one of my stock Pirelli's near replacement time. Of course this happened on a road trip, so I was driving highway speeds with a very unbalanced tire. I was already considering switching, and that sealed it for me. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4's I replaced them with do...

    Front end clunk/rattle

Seems to be more than a bad run given this is an issue on 2020 - 2023 models...

    ZFG question

I believe like me, people are hesitant to assign the performance tune to normal, and this is largely based on how the stock sport mode changes the throttle sensitivity. When I got my DMS tune, I reasoned that I wouldn't be buying a tune if I didn't want extra performance, so I took the leap and...

    ZFG question

You get to pick Stock+, daily driver, or performance on most modes. Race is available on normal and sport. Tow only allows tow. At least that is what the current request form on their site allows. I'm pretty sure I picked stock+ for eco, and it feels very similar to pre tune. Since I don't...

    ZFG question

DMS has launch baked in, no additional cost. I've only used it once myself, not sure how using it will affect reliability. I run performance in normal drive mode with race assigned to sport. There is a notable difference with shifting in sport, with the shifts being a lot more firm. I'd imagine...

    Intercooler

FWIW, I never noticed turbo lag before installing the IC. Maybe it was there, I just never felt it. It is definitely noticeable now. Still very strong off the line, but puts you deeper in the seat once it gets fully spooled up.

Having fun without losing towing capability

Technically yes, but the FP warranty requires installation by a certified mechanic. If they see a recent key cycle reset while investigating problems, I'd expect some challenge. From Ford's perspective, they can't tell what tune you were running prior to that reset. You may want to look into...

Having fun without losing towing capability

Most performance tunes recommend no towing unless it is specifically meant for that purpose. ZFG has tow specific tunes, and I'm pretty sure towing is not supported on the performance and race versions they sell. I've read something about the exhaust temperatures getting hot enough to cause...

Having fun without losing towing capability

The notes on FP tune on the Ford site states "**Trailer towing not recommended**". If you don't want to jack with warranty coverage and tow at rated capacity, you are gonna want to stick with stock tuning.

    Intercooler

I did mine without jacking it up or removing the front tires. Just make sure you keep a count of all the harnesses you disconnect. My parking sensors were crying after I got (almost) everything back together because I'd missed a harness on the driver's side. Fortunately it was something I could...

    Vossen 22” with 42mm offset

Aren't the stock 9" wide rims +37? I wouldn't think anything +42 would be a great idea on our ST's. Either going to sink into the well or drag the suspension.

    Intercooler

It isn't so much about the engine bay heat, but the stock IC is very undersized and gets overwhelmed quickly under boost conditions, resulting in 200 deg F intake, which will back down boost, timing, and power. The aftermarket ones available keep that intake temp much cooler so you can maintain...

    Intercooler

FWIW, I sent my initial data logs for my ZFG DMS tune before installing the IC. I did final logging after installing the revised tune and IC. All I got back was an email saying everything looked great, no new revision. Point is, you should be ok with doing the tune before the IC. It will...

    Key Fob

I got curious and put this to the test moments ago. With my keys on the ground, the driver door stops opening once the keys are about 6 ft away.
