ZFG map revisions for new modifications

What is the right approach then? It states on his website to leave him a message in the chat box, or even to text him but he doesn't reply. I sent in a datalog with my file and order # over a month ago. No response. Why have a chat box or tell people to text him when he can't or won't respond...

ZFG map revisions for new modifications

I would be fine with that but it's been over a month since I submitted my data log. All I can do is reach out via email and I can't get a response. Even though it says leave a message on the website chat box or to text him, he doesn't respond. Why tell customers to reach out these ways, but...

Strange vibration/firewall noise on deceleration with SPD catted downpipes

Just an update: Bought 2.5" midpipes with weave style joints and had the muffler shop add two new hangers and no more vibration. Sure sounds good though.

    SPD downpipes

The vibration is the accordian style midpipes. I installed the SPD catted downpipes and the flex joints in the midpipes were going crazy, suddenly. I installed 2.5 inch weave styke flex joint midpipes from Lethal and had the muffler shop add two new hangers and the vibration is GONE. This is a...

ZFG map revisions for new modifications

This forum is here to share experiences.... Good, the bad and the ugly. What do you suggest? That I just accept shitty customer service and keep it to myself? ‍ I heap praise on vendors who provide a good product and excellent customer service and I'm positive that my early "public" opinions...

ZFG map revisions for new modifications

I sent in datalogs over a month ago as per your "instructions" that came with your revision email. After 3 weeks and I didn't get a response, I sent you an email. -crickets- No response, no "your datalogs look good", NOTHING. While I love your tunes, they are hands down the *BEST* (I've...

Strange vibration/firewall noise on deceleration with SPD catted downpipes

I'm using the factory accordian crap I ordered 2.5" Lethal Performance mid pipes with the weave style flex joints. I hope this tones it down. I have a custom 2.5" exhaust system. I am aware of the factory flex pipe issue. I thought about getting better, firmer hanger grommets. The factory...

Strange vibration/firewall noise on deceleration with SPD catted downpipes

I recently had SPD catted downpipes installed. Coasting or deceleration it "sounds" like there is something rubbing or touching the firewall and there is a spongy feel to the steering wheel when I press the acceleration pedal. I'm wondering if maybe they didn't tighten something up OR there's a...

ZFG map revisions for new modifications

I did everything he asked. I didn't send 40 messages. lol. He keeps sending messages from different email addresses, (calibrations@zfg, sales@zfg and adam@zfg) so I hit reply to ALL. I left two messages in the member chat and he asked me to submit a change request. I did that complete with my...

    pelotonracer2's build

Added AFE intake, SPD catted downpipes and Xtreme-DI EVO HPFP.

ZFG map revisions for new modifications

I mean we've had a few emails back and forth, and he seems confused by my change requests, despite sending the info to him several different ways, including all three email addresses, change request via his website and using the chat option. He said in his last email he can't find my previous...

ZFG map revisions for new modifications

Anyone else having a hard time getting revised maps from Adam @ ZFG after adding new parts and modifications? I recently added SPD catted downpipes, AFE intake and Xtreme-DI EVO HPFP and can't seem to get a revision from him to run these new modifications. I submitted calibration change TWICE...

ZFG 93 tune and vehicle inspection

No, unless you have a CEL. It will pass Texas emissions/inspection perfectly

    pelotonracer2's build

Pictures don't mean anything because you can't see back spacing. But here's pics of mine to compare. Even though mine stick out towards the fender more, there is very little clearance between the tire/rim and front suspension on the INSIDE. Nevermind my socks and messy garage. The sock pic is...

    pelotonracer2's build

The offset of the Ferrada's is most likely +28 to +30. Unless you get flared fenders, with this much concavity of the face of the wheel, a +38 would not fit. They are super deep concave. Probably why CM2 stands for "concave madness 2". Heh. I have not seen a wheelset with more concavity for the...

No issues. Thanks for your feedback.

    pelotonracer2's build

Wrong. There is less sidewall and a more rounded "look" because the tire is not as wide so it looks "stretched" over the 11" wide wheel. It does not bulge out, it looks more stretched because the tread (contact patch) isn't as wide. Michelin PS are more squared (bulged out), meaning less...

    pelotonracer2's build

The Lionheart LH5 isn't wider or taller than Michelin Pilot Sports size for size. The cheap chinese tires are in fact narrower and have less sidewall, not more. I know because I've owned BOTH Lionheart LH5s and Michelin MPSS in 305/35-22 size. The Michelin is a bigger tire in EVERY measurement...

    pelotonracer2's build

It's possible that the Atturo 305 tire is much narrower than most other 305s. My Lionheart 285s had a noticeably narrower contact patch and more rounded sidewall than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, despite both tires being 285/40-22s. EDIT: when I say "rounded" I mean stretched, not bulging. Most...

    pelotonracer2's build

Just as UNBROKEN has stated, I don't know anyone running a 305 width tire on a 22x11 wheel. It will NOT work with the Ferrada CM2s due to back spacing and offset (they don't give their offset information). Also, just to be clear, just because a tire manufacturer states a tire size, they are...
