Racing Brake is in the game.

Since your have upgraded your wheels from stock 19", so an easy way to evaluate how thick of a wheel spacer you need is to check your existing brake caliper to wheel clearance - If you have more than 3mm* at the tightest spot, you don't even need a spacer. *Due to the fixed piston caliper has a...

    Racing Brake Upgrade Question

A good brake is more than just stopping the car - It's the "modulation" (brake control), you want it to be a very "liner" response to your brake pedal. For your reference is a review from a Tesla's S Plaid (1,020 HP) owner who installed RB CCB system kit sharing his experience on the brake...

    Racing Brake Upgrade Question

Sorry just noticed your post and hope the above reply to "Silver Streak" is helpful. Please note that for a "stock replacement" offer we are constrained to the OE configuration/dimensions and can only make the rotors/pads with a better design and material, but a brake kit including calipers...

    Racing Brake Upgrade Question

Well stated re rear BBK, a larger rear brake can make the overall brake system performs (and look) better but it's not a must. I will use Jeep's stock set up as an example which was presented on our brake offer for Jeep SRT8. On our webpage: Why Rears worn out before the fronts...

Racing Brake is in the game.

The Explorer rear caliper is incorporated with parking brake (ePB), so in order to retain the system integrity without impairing the safety the caliper can't be replaced so is the brake pads. In addition to visual appeal, a larger rotor (in diameter) not only can provide you mechanical...

Congratulations to your successful installation and thank you for sharing. Wish you a lot of lucks and enjoyable experience with this new brake for the years to come. This set up is actually one notch above Jeep's Trackhawk, although same 400mm on the front; but their rear has remained at...

Racing Brake is in the game.

I think it's a good question that you asked on behalf the members who are not familiar (or DIY) in "dealing" with their brake components. 1. Our pads are made to fit under OE calipers just like OE pads, but more essentially, is the compound (The ingredients how the pads are molded together). RB...

Racing Brake is in the game.

We know the same WK2/Trackhawk caliper (with longer mounting legs) can fit 400mm dia. rotor but not sure about 406mm until some fitment test is done. Even the caliper curvature can accommodate 400/406mm rotor you still wouldn't be able to re-use your WK2 calipers due to those are side (axile)...

We are still about 3-4 wks away from shipping the rear BBK. This leadtime is required for making the SS brake line kit available, and the final production (casting, machining, surface coating) for the extended brackets. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your understanding and patience...

    Brake Upgrade

We expect to have all upgraded brake components for ST available by end of this month; including the brake pads. Some ST owners already have the brake kits installed. RB XT910 brake pads are voted by Trackhawk to be the best performer - Easy modulation, no squeaking, very low dust, and never...

Not possible in several ways, mounting spread, offset, and mounting height etc. The WK2 was spotted through the scanning of our database (some 280 OE calipers), and confirm by final fitment test. We do offer a highly efficient and affordable 4 pot heavy duty caliper kit. This caliper was a...

Good news. Just received the rear caliper brackets both stock size (for base model upgrade to sports), and +1 for 380mm BBK. Waiting for rear spindle receipt (next week) so to perform fitment test for production & shipment release. This rear OE caliper BBK are designed and made to retain...

    1/4” Hub-centric spacers

RB 6 pot caliper kit (380mm) typically can fit 19" wheels like for the newest Corvette C8, and for Mercedes OE 19" wheels it can go up to 390mm rotors. You don't necessary need a larger wheels rather you need a wheel profile that has more spoke clearance.
