    1.25" wheel spacer, stud trimming

I shaved my front studs about 1/4 or less to avoid the studs digging into the rim. Drove it for 10K miles not problem. Went to rotate my tires, and the stud broke when tightening the lug back on. Come to find out, one lug is $48 at the dealer and not much cheaper online. My question is...

2025 Explorer ST Experience is live

I went April 24th. Great experience overall on Ford’s dime. We took advantage of all the freebies. Biltmore was awesome and the weather was perfect. BZ Ford!

Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

Steeda front and rear springs. I drove it on 9 hour road trip…loaded four guys w/ golf bags and luggage. It never felt sluggish and felt it handled the load pretty well. I’m loving it at 13,000 miles!

Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

Not me, but I read that somewhere too. Nevertheless, Steeda support was awesome and they sent me new rear springs. I’ll give an update when I get them installed.

Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

Thanks, Steeda Tech, reviewing my pictures now. Sent them measurement pics of all four wheel/fender spaces along with part #s as installed on the front and rear. We'll see what Steeda says... Thanks for response.

Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

I had my steeda springs installed a couple of weeks ago. I like the ride, but they are sitting lower on the back than on the front by 1/4 inch. I don't like that. Were they installed backwards, maybe, or are they still settling?

    Build quality

Thanks for sharing. Ford offered me the extended warranty...it's being processed as I type this, so that gives me peace of mind. Good luck with your process.

    Build quality

It’s love hate relationship with me. I love it when it’s running. Otherwise, 9K miles and it’s been in the shop twice. Software upgrade along with leaking front transaxle. Second time, failed to start when put into gear (dealer could not replicate issue) and leaking rear shocks. My rear...

2025 Ford Explorer ST engine dies as soon as I put in gear

Thanks for the feedback on SC LL. I’m at 9K so we’ll see how it goes. I may negotiate an extended warranty after all these issues. Very disappointing indeed. My 2018 Limited gave me no issues through 98K miles. I’m still hopeful no more issues will arise.

2025 Ford Explorer ST engine dies as soon as I put in gear

3-4-25 Update: dealer diagnosed both leaking rear shocks as the cause for the thump noise over small pumps. I see some of you have experienced the same. This is off the heels of the dealership replacing my front transaxle for leaking a few a few weeks ago. as for the not starting issue many...

2025 Ford Explorer ST engine dies as soon as I put in gear

Yesterday, I’ve been lucky for mine to have waited until 9K miles before acting up. Could only start with key fob and died when placed into gear. I had stopped at the store for 5 minutes came back to start it and it left me stranded at the store. It had a half a tank of fuel and just freshly...

25 ST Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power

Wow, I had the epoxy on my rear window too. Still haven't gotten it all off. There are definitely QC issues from the factory.

25 ST Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power

Bought my 2025 ST July 30th…one of the first delivered. I have 7,700 miles and loved it until this week. Took it to the dealership on Monday for its first oil change and learned it has a leaking front transaxle. Yesterday, the PM/RP wrench showed up on screen and the app after a cold start...

Anyone have a 25 ST yet?

Picked mine up on the 31st. I only have 260 miles on it. Going on a road trip in two weeks. Runs great so far. Very responsive compared to my 2018 Limited.

HI All, I’m Angel from Surfside Beach, SC. Picked up my new 2025 ST last week. I have 240 miles and so far I’m impressed. Nice upgrades from my 2018 Limited (which i loved). Looking forward to getting better acquainted with this forum.
