    Police Interceptor Wheels

Do ya want to look like a cop or do you just like the look of those wheels? Add some strobes to the front grill and add a couple spotlights on each side and you’re good to go. Just messin with ya. I hate the fact that people slowdown to the exact speed limit while coming up on them. Funny at...

    Smoking on startup after sitting

It is one of two things and excess fuel isn’t one if them. Excess fuel will be dark or black smoke. It’s either valve seals or turbo seal. I can’t believe these Ford techs passing it off as normal or excess fuel. Crazy.

Weird thing happened with Auto Stop/Start Eliminator

So I took my Explorer in for the front half shaft speed sensor failure (4 WD Fault) and when I picked it back up, my Auto Stop Start eliminator wasn’t working. The button on the console works but it doesn’t remember the setting like it’s supposed to do. At next start up, it defaults to “on” as...

    Oil Catch Can Thread

Hmmm. I wonder if they make one for the passenger side? ‍Sorry. Couldn’t resist.

    Oil Catch Can Thread

The ECSS is in addition to the crankcase venting that’s already done from the passenger side valve cover. The ECSS has nothing to do with just the the driver’s side of the motor, it just happens to be where it’s located. I’m not entirely sure how it functions, but it is connected to the wiring...

    Oil Catch Can Thread

You’re VERY confusing. So you’re going to buy “another” JLT can so you’ll be using TWO catch cans; one on the passenger side and one on the driver side? Why? That will not work and is pointless anyway. There are three ports on the can: one goes to manifold vacuum, another to your intake tube...

    Oil Catch Can Thread

Sorry, your post read like you thought you might need a catch can for each side of the engine; right and left cylinder banks. That’s not what you meant, is it? I have a UPR catch can that’s mounted on the driver’s side of the engine bay, but I suppose you could mount it on the passenger side, if...

    Forscan Auto Start/Stop turn off?

It’s easy to tell if it’s working or not just by looking at the ASS button on the console. If it’s lit up, ASS is off. If it stays lit up after the next ignition cycle, then it is remembering the last setting, so it is working in that case. If it’s not lit up after the next cycle, it isn’t...

Thinking about buying a 2020 ST

I bought a new late 2020 and have had only one problem, that was the drivers side CAT. Great car and zero complaints.

ALL YOU CATCH CAN GUYS; How much oil?

Water (condensation) isn’t the issue, only the oil is. Water doesn’t leave deposits on the valves and pistons like oil does. Water collects in the crankcase in the form of condensation after a warm engine cools down, and is most evident when the relative humidity is high. When the engine is...

    WTForscan

It’s not that tough. Check out YouTube. There’s some pretty good tutorials in there. It’s best to stay in the “as built” area too. Much easier and straight forward.

    New recall?

After getting on it, there is an exhaust smell, and a slight exhaust leak noise when cold.

    New recall?

Yep. Brought mine in because I suspected a leak. They ordered the left CAT and so far it’s been eight weeks and no CAT.
