    After installing tune/IC

Heat range in itself will not produce any additional power. However it will allow you make additional power from things like increased timing and boost without the spark plug turning into a glow plug and causing detonation/preignition.

    After installing tune/IC

This response to this is going to vary highly depending on who you are talking to. Generally speaking, it does no harm whatsoever to go one heat range colder on a tuned ST so why not for cheap insurance and a quick tune-up? I've been running the NGK Ruthenium plugs now for a few thousand miles...

    Stop wheel hob

Bushings are definitely a big plus here. I ordered the inserts yesterday. If they work, great. If they don't, super easy to uninstall and sell for $75 shipped then upgrade to the fenfab links.

    Stop wheel hob

For vertical links, you have a couple options, depending on your budget. FenFab makes a very nice billet vertical link set for I believe around $350. If you want something a bit on the cheaper side, $100 will get you the billet aluminum inserts that bolt into the factory vertical links and...

    Adding Sub Woofer

Interesting idea, but not sure I'm trying to get that involved. Once I get the panel off I'll measure the factory enclosure with the water method and see how limited my options are.

    Adding Sub Woofer

What about making the factory box a sealed enclosure with a properly matched and upgraded 8" driver that's tuned to a slightly higher frequency range than the 12" additional sub is?

    S&B coming soon

Where did you order from? I bought mine through Lethal and they bill at the time of sale.

    S&B coming soon

I'm being sarcastic. But last phone call to lethal, S&B had quoted them "Hopefully early January".

    S&B coming soon

Ordered mine 11/01. Expecting to see it sometime in the second quarter of 2024

    No alternator output at idle?

Nope. Still the same thing. And in fact, just the other night I came out of the hardware store and started the vehicle up to a nice "SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM SOON" message. I've owned it going on 2.5 months now and it's been the only indication that something may be wrong.

    S&B coming soon

Lethal bills at the time of sale. It's not like Summit where they bill you when it ships.

    S&B coming soon

Mine has been on order since 11/1. I called Lethal 2 weeks ago to check the status and was given an ETA of black Friday. I just called them yesterday for another update and was told it will be another 2-3+ weeks. Lethal resales a lot of their stuff shipped direct from the manufacturer...

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

Hey that sounds very similar to burning my arm on the Explorer exhaust I have to say this is the first vehicle I've ever owned that has had this level of dumb-assery with the transmission fill. I generally hold onto vehicles long term. My first car was an '85 Z28 I bought when I was 20 years...

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

Thinking of this myself after I recover from that extremely frustrating fill process lol

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

Did a full pan swap on mine. Let it bleed out into the drain pan for a good hour. Almost another full quart came out of the pump when I yanked the filter. I added 8 quarts of Valvoline ULV + a 10oz bottle of Lubegard red and ended up overfilled. Had to drain one quart out to get the correct...

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

Ooooof. Definitely got the reference lol. You're right though. I'm sure it will work "good enough" for now. But we haven't had nearly enough time to establish failure rates and start connecting the dots. I actually just finished picking up 6qts of that exact same fluid from my local...

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

Someone posted one a few clicks above with the correct viscosity. Also, Valvoline makes a full synthetic ULV with the correct viscosities. I'm also a personal fan of using Lubegard red. I've had good results with everything I've put it in. I'm not saying that Amsoil is a bad product, I'm...

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

There's definitely better products out there than Motorcraft, but with the correct viscosity.

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

Don't forget how many profiles I have LOL. I'm not trying to bash or name drop anyone. Just give others the CORRECT information so that they can decide for themselves.

Mercon ULV ATF vs Amsoil SS Transmission Fluid

Posting this not to shame or bash, but so that people will have the information they need to make their own informed decision. It seems Amsoil is a VERY popular product with these vehicles. I myself have been using their products in all my stuff for years now with zero issues. However, when...
