    What is the flimsy panel covering the muffler area?

    So I'm changing to Winter Tires on my ST, and behind the rear wheel going forward is panel that is not solidly mounted and moves easily. I really didn't inspect it closely (it's cold in WI on the ground in January) but I've never seen a car with something like this. But I was truly impressed...
