    Trailer Brake Controller

I like and use Curt brake controllers myself. Just an FYI, you will need an adapter harness specific to the Explorer and the controller you use. The controller package Dale5403 is showing has the specific harness for the Explorer and the specific Tekonsha brake controller. Below is a pic of my...

What's the best option to black out these 20in aluminum wheels?

You are going to have to break down the tires from the wheels, remove any weights, have the wheels stripper (sandblasted), have them powdercoated, then get the tires remouinted and balanced. You might be able to save a few bucks by having the rims sandblasted independently so the powdercoater...

2025 Headliner Exposed at Drivers Door

Damn!!! This is EXACTLY WHY you don't let anything go, minor or not. A) Because we expect and demand excellence and we paid for it to be nothing other than that. B) Because something seemingly minor might not be as it appears.

Hit a deer. Now comes the auto insurance dance...

It's completely common for body shops or DIY'ers to have what are called "add ons" to claims as work begins and other things are found to be damaged from the incident. Body shops reach out to your insurance company and get it taken care of. Most of the time you aren't even made aware of it.

    Hard Water Spots

My $.02 - I use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. I spray it on, wait 20 - 30 seconds and wipe it off. Results would vary depending on how bad the hard water is but this has always worked well for me.

25 ST Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power

Well, I can help. I've been through a Ford buyback and achieved the buyback. I also Won a seperate Lemon Law case against Ford for another vehicle - The buyback and the Lemon Law case were both with 2012 Ford Focus's so we all know how Ford tried screwing every owner of them and publicly...

25 ST Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power

Lemon law !! I won a Lemon law against Ford and one (of several) criteria to qualify is the vehicle being out of service at the dealership for warranty issue(s) 30-days or more during the manufactures 3-year/36K warranty period. I would put this right down Ford's throat and either make them buy...
