2026 Ford Explorer Replaces Vista Roof With Fixed Glass Option

And it is way too hot & humid in NE FL 10 months of the year. We prefer the solid roof in our F150 over the sunroof in the explorer.

    2025 Oil Capacity

Just completed another oil change this past weekend. This time I got the engine HOT by running errands for a couple hours. Let it drain for 30 minutes to get as much out as possible. Added 6 quarts, no more, no less. After resting overnight, the cold level (red line) has been above the upper...

URGENT: Oil level is low, but no leaks - recently changed it

Where is the level after sitting for multiple hours ? You want it between the top hash and not much over the upper dot.

Tire Pressure for ST Pirelli Scorpion Left at 50 Pounds

Not uncommon at all and this happens with many brands/dealerships. It is just poor PDI processing.

    2025 Oil Capacity

Not sure why you are so angry. I am trying to understand where it is recommended to dial it in if between the hash and upper dot is not what is being recommended or is that what is being recommended. The last time I changed the oil, even after letting it drain for a while, when adding 6qt it was...

    2025 Oil Capacity

Whether 6qt or 6.25qt or 6.5qt, etc., for those that state the engine requires more than 6qt when running hard, where to you expect to see the oil level when cold after sitting overnight 8+ hrs?

    2025 Oil Capacity

I'd reckon I don't really launch it. Occasionally put it in sport mode from a red light, but don't brake launch it. Definitely WOT on highway entrance ramps when not blocked. Just seems odd to see the oil that high over the top dot the first two times with 6qt fill.

1/2-3/4" over the upper dot is too much. Ymmv.

    2025 Oil Capacity

Draining and refilling the last two times using ramps, first time 6qts and then 5.75qts, both ended up being overfilled a bit when checking on a subsequent early morning when completely cold. May start with 5.5qt next time to dial in cold level top of hash marks.

    Windshield washer tank leaking

Mobile service tech came out yesterday to update most of the modules due to Recalls/TSBs/CSPs/Etc. and said he's never seen an Explorer that stays topped off.

    Windshield washer tank leaking

2025, same issue here.Top it off, let it sit, no issue. Drive it a couple miles and recheck, can't see any and have to fill it again. Will need to try the bag test.

    More dealer service problems

I have one of the first 2025s that was built in May of 2024, no engine cover. I don't even know how one could fit.

    2025 Ford Explorer Seats Issue

Just don't turn the car off while the message seats are going. Sometimes they don't reset correctly. Or enable then disable after restart.

Honest opinion of 2025 ST. Buying a 24.

We often switch while driving on road trips or after one drives to dinner or a show and switch for coming back. My wife also switches up her purses regularly based on occasion. So its easy to take just one fob off the key rack when needed and just use the memory 1 or 2 button on the door. We...

Honest opinion of 2025 ST. Buying a 24.

I'm glad we got a job 1. The explorer is shared between my 5'4" wife and me at 6'1". The memory seats and steering wheel are amazing. The only thing to adjust is the seat belt and the mirror. In our F150, no memory anything and all manual adjustments, it sucks big time. For our next non-truck...

    Extended Warranty with Granger

If your vehicle is in good working order, you shouldn't have to spend anything on repairs. If they find something, then you should get it fixed regardless of the warranty inspection.
