There are applications where the pads have adhesive on the back.

    Front Brake Pad Removal.

You should put the brakes in service mode, sometimes its difficult to take it out of service mode unless Forscan is used. https://www.foexplorer.com/ford_explorer_removal_and_installation_brake_caliper-530.html

    Front Brake Pad Removal.

...now but I think the caliper had to be removed by prying back the top and then lifting (or prying) it upward and out on an upward angle. I keep thinking it somewhat locks in-place with the caliper bracket at the bottom. Anyway, its not rocket science and you sure as hell don't need Forscan for it.

    Front Brake Pad Removal.

Read everything you can find on Brake Service Mode and the issues people have with front brakes. Be prepared with Forscan at a minimum.

    Running too cool. Stuck tstat?

Bone stock '23 ST w 26K miles I was alerted to this when I was programming something via ForScan, but it showed a pending DTC for a P0128. Accidentally erased it unfortunately. But decided to monitor coolant temps for a bit and noticed i run consistently 172-177 degrees. Only once did I...

2025+ Ford Explorer Spreadsheet now available!

Thank you for continuing to press on and try to figure this out. Very eager to get this sound to go away. Thanks again for all of the discovery you are doing and looking forward to the tweak to make the FENG disappear for good. Thanks!

2025+ Ford Explorer Spreadsheet now available!

Have had a few people try this, a lot still had FENG still there even with the Propulsion change via FORScan. The issue is that the strategy--Ford somehow combined the FENG and ACM (Active Noise Control) which blocks out the exterior noise when you drive. It's complicated buts till working on it...

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

I ordered a set of OEM sensors off eBay and none of them worked. They refunded my money. I got a set off Amazon and the same thing! Then I ordered a set from TPMSDirect.com and they all worked fine. Of course, I have the worst luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2025+ Ford Explorer Spreadsheet now available!

I think based on my vin I have a job 2. I definitely don’t have a 1 and I don’t think it’s the 3. In forscan I’ve done, walk away lock, approach lighting, camera view, auto relock, fogs with high beams, the FENG, and amber DRL in drive. I did activate the fogs to be on with the DRL however it...

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

...I got the wrong one and need to get this one: https://a.co/d/dLRrSMG Should I try pulling the battery next? Or just drive some more? I have forscan, is there anything there I can do? It seems that maybe all 315mhz sensors are not the same, and maybe there are some other communication...

My 2020 ford explorer st battery keep going dead

...frequent deep sleeps. The solution was to update a bunch of modules. If you haven't had this done, I would seriously recommend it. I would also recommend changing battery state of charge target from 80% to 90%. You can do that via Forscan. For now, I'd use a battery tender whenever possible.

Interceptor amber DRL's on Explorer St

Just wish we had an option in Forscan to "disable Position lights when turn signal in use". That would completely resolve the issue with blinkers not working up front at night.

This would be great looking forward to trying.

    2020 Explorer ST

Thise are just dash warnings. You need to do a diagnostic scan to find out what’s wrong. Personally I’d get the OBDlink MX+ and Forscan Lite

Global Windows Close Enable - 2025+ Explorer

I didn't have the option for even the roll down in my Infotainment system settings. I did however use Forscan and these instructions and mine is now working. Before mine didn't even roll down. I was told by one person it is due to not having a sunroof so was not enabled at factory. It is all...

Adding “Walk Away Lock” feature for 2025+ Ford Explorers (with Audible Feedback)

...it, it's because Ford never intended the Explorer to have this feature but it will still work! Once confirmed, disconnect the Explorer from FORScan and turn off the Explorer. Close the door and walk away a few feet, you will see and hear that the Explorer is locked after a few quick seconds...
