No, but that is simply how they are advertised. Even if the FP tune comes in with less power than the popular ones out there now, plenty of us probably won't care. That's especially true for those of us that couldn't care less about drag racing.

Updating this again since I had my factory resonator welded back in this afternoon. What a difference - sounds absolutely amazing. With the H-pipe, it was just way too loud - almost straight-pipe loud, but it's perfect now. The rumble is noticeable, but nowhere near close to obnoxious. No drone...

How are you going to measure one tune versus another other than the power output (I.e., “dyno sheets”)? If it’s safe for a daily driver, being “watered down” shouldn’t be any issue. Mine has an 8-year, 125,000 mile warranty. I can wait.

Have had it in for several months. Very high quality and maybe a 10% bump in sound level with stock mufflers. Adding the Gibson axle-back to mine shortly. Will see if it is too loud or not, so I may put the resonator back in.

Because not everyone wants to "compete" or base the performance of their vehicle purely on a dyno sheet. Plenty of us want to enjoy the vehicle as a daily-driver, tinker with it a bit, and be content that a tune will be compatible with the factory warranty.
