But if you went from 21s to 18s, you would save 60.8 pounds.

Supposedly the Pirellis weigh 37 pounds, so the 21" rims weigh around 37.8 pounds.

And the 20" Michelins weigh 34 pounds, so the stock 20" rims should weigh 36.8 pounds.

Supposedly the Hankooks weigh 35 pounds, so the 18" aluminum XLT rims should weigh 24.6 pounds.

    2022 Rubber Floor Mats

    Sorry, no. I have a late 2020.

    2022 Rubber Floor Mats

M Mine has the attachment for the front passenger. I would suggest looking on the carpeted mat you removed to see if it broke or came loose.

I will let you know what the 18" wheels weigh once I switch over the rubber from the stock XLT to something more performance based.

    Rolling backward holding brake ?

I am thinking they are going to find multiple issues with the ST.

My 20" wheel and tire weighed 70.8 pounds. Don't have 21" to compare to though. The 18" weighed 59.6 pounds. Cheers.

Yes, what a weight difference. But they are noticeably spongy being a 65 series tire.

    Rolling backward holding brake ?

I start my ST and reverse almost immediately and it has never rolled back an inch until I take my foot off the brake. I also just bled my brakes and wow does the system pump fluid fast. Way faster than any other vehicle I have owned.

I was thinking of going with red, but stuck with conservative black.

Which ST SUV Experience location did you sign up for?

Hey, you definitely can attend. My wife and I drove our ST from North Bay, Ontario to Asheville in April. We had a great time. Just register and plan your trip. Cheers.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

Okay, I will admit when I was wrong. The bad weekend has turned into a bad month. Sorry for your troubles.

    Canadian Winters

Hi and welcome, I went a different route and picked up a set of XLT aluminum rims with stock 18" rubber for under a $1000 CDN with the intentions of putting winters on them. I am currently killing off the other rubber first. Just a thought. Cheers, Ron

    Real world mpg

Accurate to 10' is great for geochaching and finding you car after hiking, but not accurate at all for calculating the change in distance over a few seconds (I would think that your Garmin would sample more frequently than a few times a minute). At 60 mph your vehicle should move 88' per second...

    Real world mpg

Straight and level, with good satellite coverage, should give you a fairly accurate speed. Outside of those conditions, gps information would be suspect in my experience. For measuring distances on highways we use a meter reader connected to the vehicle and is calibrated to suit the individual...

    Real world mpg

The odometer reading would be directly related to the speedometer reading, that would be how it calculated the distance travelled. Circumference of tires along with number of revolutions. Looking online it appears that thw 275/45ZR21s are about 3.4% smaller than the thw 255/55R20s. If Ford did...

    Real world mpg

Even 5% off would mean your warranty would end fairly prematurely and likely impact resale values.

    Real world mpg

Hey, are you suggesting the vehicle odometer is of by 15%. That would be far more of a scandal than any of other complaints about the vehicle.
