2025 ST Factory Windshield Wipers Chatter...

^^^^^ what unbroken said. It's not the wipers, it's the glass.

2025 ST Factory Windshield Wipers Chatter...

Same issue here even with high quality aftermarket wipers. A bit of polish on the windshield to reduce drag fixes the issue.

Adding electronic cutout to factory exhaust

Very true. Even Granatelli has a bit of "chatter" when closed. On a cammed engine it's really no big deal since the chop drowns that out but on the stock ST OEM exhaust system, it may be pretty noticeable. Going with Thermal 2.5 is the best of both worlds. Not obnoxious at WOT/cruising speeds...

Adding electronic cutout to factory exhaust

Granatelli offers true cutouts if you are not trying to replace with a Valvetronic muffler kit. However, you would most likely have to cut and install before the hangers on the longer section of pipe. As far as the sound is concerned, may be a too much. I've used Granatelli on my hot rods and...

    TPMS

Also, I see that any 315MHz will work correct? Saw these on Amazon and about to purchase unless someone stops me and says those wont work for whatever reason...

    TPMS

Read this thread last week and boom both rears toast. Anyone know how much Ford would charge to replace (only labor)? I have an appointment for the camera recall next week so figured I'd kill two birds with one stone if price is reasonable. My guess is highway robbery but figured I'd ask.

    Bad Caliper?

No pics at this time but standard stuff here after a good rain and rotors rust and dissipate after a drive. It may be an intermittent issue since I drove again and rust is gone.

    Bad Caliper?

Noticed rust build up today on my rear driver side rotor. No other rotors have build up. No visible leaks, pinched lines, etc. Has anyone else experience this issue?

Oil Life - Time vs Mileage

ST became a secondary/weekend driver this year. I've barely put 3,000 miles on it since beginning of the year. I'm still changing at intervals of roughly 2-3 a year using a synthetic blend. Oil looks brand new each time and at appropriate level. Question being, should I stick to the time...

    Splash Shield

Anyone know the nut size to hold the side under body splash shield in place? Wasn't too hard to find where the wind buffering sound was coming from.

    Sticking Brakes?

After the vehicle has been sitting for some time (overnight) with the e-brake engaged when it is disengaged and put into drive/reverse, there is a slight "sticking" that releases while in initial motion. This has only been noticeable the past few months. 2020 with 58k miles. Is this normal, a...

    Borla S-type vs thermal 2.5

Thermal R&D. Pretty much in the same scenario as you. Kids room right next to the garage. Cold start is bit loud but has never woke them up. Hardly noticeable at cruising speeds and kids still sleeping at WOT.

    Alignment/Steering Linkage Issue

Steering linkage adjusted and fixed my unique issue.

2020 Explorer ST - Lots of hassle and work done at 35k miles - any success stories welcome

Just thought of this as well. Did they check your brakes to make sure they weren't sticking? A stuck piston in the caliper will cause a pull. Especially noticeable when applying the brakes.

2020 Explorer ST - Lots of hassle and work done at 35k miles - any success stories welcome

M Mine was due to improper steering linkage reassembly when my transfer case was replaced. It did not cause a pull per say but my steering wheel was not dead center when traveling straight down the road. When positioning my steering wheel centered, it listed to one side. Worn or defective...

2020 Explorer ST - Lots of hassle and work done at 35k miles - any success stories welcome

Most techs I've dealt with regarding my pull didn't think outside the box. They always resorted to an alignment, which didn't fix the issue even though the alignment came back within spec. I insisted that they needed to check my steering linkage and suspension components. Lo and behold, after...
