What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Did a detail on the Explorer's this weekend. I put Gtechnique Tyre Gel on the tires and Gtechnique C4 on the plastic of the Rapid Red. I didn't have any more C4 to put on the Stone Blue but was able to do the Tyre Gel. We'll see how long it lasts. It was easy to apply after doing the prep work.

So I get this recall message today…..

I got the Ford message yesterday as well. It was for the rear climate control delete in my 22 Explorer ST. They do not have enough parts in stock to take care of this issue. I had received a notice in December from Ford that they would be able to replace this item but every time I called the...

    Water Spots on wheel

By the looks of the rims and hubs, that's not only water spots but a build up of dirt that's ground in or burnt in. I would suggest Diablo Gel wheel cleaner from Chemical Guys along with wheel woolies brushes. It'll probably take more than one time to get those wheels back to black. My 22 ST was...

2022 Explorer ST 2nd Row Cup Holder Console Between Captain Chairs

Any idea as to how long it would take to do this job? Did you happen to get a quote from Ford on what the cost would be? My wife has the 21 Rapid Red and I just purchased the 22 Stone Blue and want to add this center console.

    Ceramic coatings and PPF

I just picked up a 2022 ST in Stone Blue. I already have an appointment to PPF the entire front, the back of the mirrors, the door cups and the door sills. I only did a partial PFF wrap on the RapidREd and decided that I would do a full wrap this time of the front. If you do a lot of highway...

Canvasback rear liner arrived, love it!

I've owned four SUV's and they've all had Canvasback cargo liners in them. A great company and product. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a custom cargo liner that's hand stitched and manufactured here in the US (MN).

thoughts on potential purchase (or deposit on build)

In regards to deals, I bought my 21 Explorer ST as a dealer demo in March (3100 mi.). I traded in a 2016 GMC Yukon. I worked the whole deal through the e-mails and a few phone calls. I got top dollar for the Yukon and got a great deal on the ST (49K). I just did another deal on a 21 XLT with...

    2nd Row cargo liner

I agree with the Canvasback. It will cover the entire cargo area, behind the 3rd row seats as well as the back of the 2nd row seats. I've had Canvasback on all my SUV's. They are a great company and the workmanship is A1. They are a little slippery, so I keep some rubber footed bins in the back...

New ST Owner from Southern NH

Yes, its somewhat slippery but the protection factor is A1. I use a couple of bins with rubber feet on them to keep groceries in place or smaller type items. I can say this much, the workmanship from Canvasback is top notch.

Hello, the canvasback is held in place by Velcro. Once it’s in place, it doesn’t move. It protects the carpet area in the cargo area, as well as the back of the 2nd & 3rd row seats. I‘lol take some pictures of the Explorer as well as the Durango. I wouldn’t go without.
