Adding “Walk Away Lock” feature for 2025+ Ford Explorers (with Audible Feedback)

Just ordered my adaptor. This is one of those simple features I'm looking most forward to.

2025+ Ford Explorer Spreadsheet now available!

I'm not familiar with the ANC. Is this independent of the fake exhaust noise? This is just for cabin noise?

    6 Faults and AWD Module

BTW i fully verified this was my issue. I was detecting 50Ohms between the AWD module case and ground. I was reading 2.3 volts from the ground wire at the FADA connector to the engine block. I wiggled the connector under the driver seat going to the AWD module and all of the grounds cleared up...

    AWD Module Calibration

...is worth it, i bought the mongoose adapter and it has well paid for itself in the first year of ownership already. FDRS is sick. You buy a 2 day license for 50$ and can update modules, install brand new modules, perform TSBs, look at service history in detail. Lots of stuff. More than forscan.

    AWD Module Calibration

I have heard other people in other threads post of similar issues and the problem was that the gear ratio in the transfer case or differentials in the front and rear did not line up causing the gears to wear rapidly. What was the issue?

SOLVED: Electrical Issues - Lost Communications and Invalid Data Received

You guys wont believe this but wiggling the connector under my seat to the awd module fixed everything and i caught it live in a forscan recording. All the disabled features are back online and forscan is not showing any more codes. I might just drive it to ford and show them what i found and...

Things I have learned with my new (to me) 2020 ST

...in the fully closed position for 2 seconds. Test for correct window operation by carrying out the one-touch down and one-touch up features. FORScan I have attached the changes I have compiled from various sources. I love all these changes with disabling auto start/stop being my fav. It does...

    Reverse Park Assist Not Available

Sensor issue. One isn't plugged in properly, or may have been damaged. Unsure, but if you were to pull DTC's with ForScan you might find one that gives you more specific information.

Increasing Speed Limit Restriction For MyKey

I searched here and in the ForScan forums but didn't find anything specific on this topic. Can the 80 MPH speed limit restriction be raised? It's not that I want her to be able to go over 80 MPH but the warning messeges and chimes are annoying. You have to drive 70-75 to keep up with the general...

Is something going on with forscan.org?

I'm trying to download Forscan from forscan.org, but I keep getting connection timeout errors. Tried multiple browsers and PC's with the same result. Is anyone able to reach the site? Thanks, David

    Enabling Approach/Welcome Lighting

NP, I recently acquired a 2020 as well and have already made some tweaks, but saw this and thought it was cool. I have some other changes I want to make and will add this to the list. If I get around to it before you do I will report back. Congrats on your 2020, I love mine. Spotless with 59K...

    Enabling Approach/Welcome Lighting

I've got it, I just haven't had the chance to hook Forscan up to it yet. It's on my list as I've got quite a few things I'd like to modify with it.

    forscan spreadsheets

FYI, in the latest FORSCAN and following this link (https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/how-to-diy-enable-reverse-tilt-on-sideview-mirrors-with-forscan.19499/) The mirrors on the 25' can tilt in reverse for each button when pressed. Follow those and it works for the explorer (enable in...

    Auto start/stop question

Hey all I have a 2022 st and even tho i dont mind it not working properly I do want to fix it? Have not done the forscan to disengage it (think thats what people are doing) but the issue is its not engaging correctly in any drive mode I usually turn it off but noticed indicator on the dash was...

SOLVED: Electrical Issues - Lost Communications and Invalid Data Received

...and I feel comfortable doing it myself. at the very least it would rule that issue out. I need to spend some time trying to read more sensor data with forscan. The issue was intermittent but now seems to be a full time problem since the last time i cleared the codes they came back immediately.

    2020 Explorer ST

Appreciate it. And yes actually it was 6 years. Bms reset was done with forscan. I have a 2019 build and I’m starting to think i need to perform that TSB to add a dedicated ground to the AWD module. All my error codes are posted in my own thread. Sorry for hijacking this old one.
