What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Added the sides under the rubber seal. These did require some modification to fit. LB5Z-7802039-A LB5Z-7802038-B

    40-55 mph pulse vibration

If you have not already done so, get the tires road force balanced and be sure they actually rotate the tire if an improvement can be made. Some shops road force but if the lb force is within "spec" they will leave it when they could actually improve it by a bunch. I would expect lower than 20...

    Fuel octane?

Yup! I am not a fan of using knock sensors any more than I have to.

    40-55 mph pulse vibration

That was going to be my guess as well, the driveshaft. I would double check the engine/tranny/diff bushings/mounts while they are under there as well just as a preventative.

25 ST Steering "sticky" on center & does not return to center on its own (bear-left only; bear-right is fine)

If the vehicle "sticks" to one direction or the other after a correction it could be a slight toe out of the front wheels. You could put it on the rack and have it aligned with an extremely small amount of positive toe and see if that corrects it. If it shows any negative toe prior to any...

    2025 Oil Capacity

I pulled 6.44 qts out of my 2025 factory fill with 1k on the odo. I refilled with 6.5 qts. This took the dip stick to between the top hash and the top hole after a 12-15 min wait.

    Wheel weights

Right there with you but I would say we have a level of standard. One thing I'll add to agreeing with what you do (aside from 5k oil change intervals here) is I will bring black weights to the shop for my dark wheels just incase they don't have them.

Why do I want to sell my 22 ST 21”OEM wheels, and tires

I've kept factory wheels to have a second set at times when I need to isolate a vibration and use the factory wheel to eliminate the aftermarket wheel/tire as a possible cause. I've also used the factory wheels to use for alignments as I do not trust the tech will use care when mounting the...

    Wheel weights

Like others above mentioned, definitely clean the barrel prior to going to the tire store. I don't even trust them to dismount and remount the wheels so I bring them in off the vehicle.

Looking for some help from the experts

Yep, get rings and make sure you torque the lug nuts as much as possible with the tire off the ground. I will get roughly 80 lb ft off the ground before letting a small amount of the vehicle's weight on the tire to then finish to the desired torque. This step avoids the possibility of the...
