Things I have learned with my new (to me) 2020 ST

...in the fully closed position for 2 seconds. Test for correct window operation by carrying out the one-touch down and one-touch up features. FORScan I have attached the changes I have compiled from various sources. I love all these changes with disabling auto start/stop being my fav. It does...

    Reverse Park Assist Not Available

Sensor issue. One isn't plugged in properly, or may have been damaged. Unsure, but if you were to pull DTC's with ForScan you might find one that gives you more specific information.

Increasing Speed Limit Restriction For MyKey

I searched here and in the ForScan forums but didn't find anything specific on this topic. Can the 80 MPH speed limit restriction be raised? It's not that I want her to be able to go over 80 MPH but the warning messeges and chimes are annoying. You have to drive 70-75 to keep up with the general...

Is something going on with forscan.org?

I'm trying to download Forscan from forscan.org, but I keep getting connection timeout errors. Tried multiple browsers and PC's with the same result. Is anyone able to reach the site? Thanks, David

    Enabling Approach/Welcome Lighting

NP, I recently acquired a 2020 as well and have already made some tweaks, but saw this and thought it was cool. I have some other changes I want to make and will add this to the list. If I get around to it before you do I will report back. Congrats on your 2020, I love mine. Spotless with 59K...

    Enabling Approach/Welcome Lighting

I've got it, I just haven't had the chance to hook Forscan up to it yet. It's on my list as I've got quite a few things I'd like to modify with it.

    forscan spreadsheets

FYI, in the latest FORSCAN and following this link (https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/how-to-diy-enable-reverse-tilt-on-sideview-mirrors-with-forscan.19499/) The mirrors on the 25' can tilt in reverse for each button when pressed. Follow those and it works for the explorer (enable in...

    Auto start/stop question

Hey all I have a 2022 st and even tho i dont mind it not working properly I do want to fix it? Have not done the forscan to disengage it (think thats what people are doing) but the issue is its not engaging correctly in any drive mode I usually turn it off but noticed indicator on the dash was...

SOLVED: Electrical Issues - Lost Communications and Invalid Data Received

...and I feel comfortable doing it myself. at the very least it would rule that issue out. I need to spend some time trying to read more sensor data with forscan. The issue was intermittent but now seems to be a full time problem since the last time i cleared the codes they came back immediately.

    2020 Explorer ST

Appreciate it. And yes actually it was 6 years. Bms reset was done with forscan. I have a 2019 build and I’m starting to think i need to perform that TSB to add a dedicated ground to the AWD module. All my error codes are posted in my own thread. Sorry for hijacking this old one.

SOLVED: Electrical Issues - Lost Communications and Invalid Data Received

Update: I put a fresh battery in it and reset the BCM. Went a whopping 3 days without issues until I got these again. I will scan later with forscan, i’m expecting it to be the same error codes as before.

    2020 Explorer ST

I agree. I have started saving off all the DTCs from forscan just to have more clues and maybe help others out if it does end up just being the battery. But i’m going to go pick up a battery now that i’m seeing all the other gremlins that come up with an old battery. I don’t want to wait until...

SOLVED: Electrical Issues - Lost Communications and Invalid Data Received

That's how I ended up doing it. I couldn't get it to work through ForScan and enabling it there.

The one feature I miss about my BMW, now to figure out this Forscan thing.

Adding “Walk Away Lock” feature for 2025+ Ford Explorers (with Audible Feedback)

Wife is interested, so your point #2 still remains, there is no easy on/off toggle?
