My ST doesn't move after replace used ABS

Don't know about Forscan, but in FDRS, you would do a PMI on the new ABS module to get it to work properly with your vehicle. Edit: check out youtube... some are using Forscan to do the PMI

    What Are These?

...replaced it didn’t replace it with a heated windshield. There are no elements in it. I called my local Safe-Lite and supposedly the heated windshields were prone to cracking so they don’t use them. I just need to go in with Forscan and disable the feature. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New ST owner from Ohio

Just bought a new to me 2020 ST. Fully stock minus a few Forscan things I have done and tint. Looking to get into the upgrades soon. First thing is paint correction and ceramic coat. Need to find a good place in Ohio or Kentucky to get it done.

Guide - Fixing AWD module ground.

...stopped responding. Every time I scanned for codes i had some different variation of the DTCs. Diagnosis and Identification: If you can use Forscan on a computer and log data live with the oscilloscope feature, this would tell you more. The AWD module needs to see close to 12V with engine...

...the battery and it didn’t fix any of the communication errors. I actually got to the root cause. The ground on my AWD module is failing intermittently. I verified it with a multimeter and looking at the oscilloscope on forscan. I have a whole thread about it in case anyone else sees these posts.

    Speaker clicking

...I thought I could just disconnect it for now but when I did that, the speaker on the other side, while working, produced a click as well. Forscan is reading error codes from the ACM for 1 speaker. I was rear ended last year. A lot of work was done in the back which included the ACM...

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

I'm thinking the original was/is good as well. I had to get the extended license for Forscan to update battery charge but unfortunately that made no difference. Still getting 12.2v. I've made an appointment with a local shop to try to sort it out for me tomorrow as I've bugged way too many...

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

...replace the alternator because like you, I got rock stable 13.5-8V when the BMS sensor was disconnected. Only thing that helped was changing the Battery State of Charge setting from the default 80 to 95%. I have all modules fully updated as well. Not my pic but here is the setting in Forscan:

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

If the alternator is outputting 13.4 at idle with the BMS disconnected, then it has to be something else in the system... unless you have defective new BMS sensor.

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

So I was able to pick up a BMS sensor at local Ford dealer and I'm back down to 12.2v so that was not in fact bad. Also in my Forscan I do not seem to have the option to change battery state of charge. I'm not on an OE alternator at the moment as there were none available not just close by but...

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

...default battery state of charge to 95% in BdyCM. With that setting, you should get 14+ V with the car running when monitoring V Batt in Forscan. Replacing the BMS sensor is easy enough but may not solve your problem...

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

...at the negative terminal and had immediate start up with my battery light and charging system warning going away. Once hooked up and running Forscan I was getting 13.4v at idle to the battery. Is it safe to assume that sensor has gone bad? If it did go bad would it be all at once or is it...

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

Where is the BMS connection? Assuming I can still look in forscan to see voltage at the battery? Also Forscan to change state of charge?

Need guidance on replacing the alternator.

Yeah I've done multiples now in Forscan between the battery change and alternator changes. Got the second new alternator in around lunch and went and drove 5 miles...did the BMS reset and the car died in the middle of it.
