Explorer Compliance Recall Notice 25C42/NTHSA Recall 25V543

    Firearm placement for driver

Over and over and over again. Most big cities are what the left wants for America. More illegals costing taxpayers more, much more crime by using catch and release or just don’t catch, citizens that don’t go out anymore due to crime, tourists that don’t come anymore, homelessness, open boarders...

Explorer Compliance Recall Notice 25C42/NTHSA Recall 25V543

My opinion is that many of the quality issues on the Explorer are more related to the Chicago plant and not necessarily corporate Ford. They used to be a tooling customer of my former business and I’ve been there countless times. Worst run assembly plant of any type that I have seen. During BLM...

    Trans Smell driving me bonkers

Only thing I can think of is overfilled. But you’re not finding a leak. And spilled during the install should have cooked off. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Firearm placement for driver

Speaking from a relative that is a Chicago PO, there is one reason for the rise in crime at least in Chicago. That being a refusal to incarcerate repeat, repeat, repeat offenders period. Now they don’t really want to risk their lives to arrest violent criminals because they know they will be...

    Rattle noise in front end?

One of my front swaybar mounts ran dry and wore too big. A new set of bushings solved it. This was with a Steeda sway bar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

I had a similar dog and pony show trying to find a clunk. Ended up being a worn Steeda bushing. Probably went dry for a while and wore down a but. Must have put my car on the lift four or five times before I figured it out. Was happy when I replaced the bushing and it went away. Sent from my...

Battery health and resetting the BCM

This is the way imo. I run both my wife’s and my dash cam. Not cheap but they will run for about 35 hours with the car off without draining anything from the car battery. My wife still works and her dash can runs 24/7 and charges enough on her commute. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

PPE transmission pan = hard downshifts?

Have you checked the level? I had no issue doing the same except I double checked hot the level via dipstick. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Adjustable Exhaust

You could always do cutouts but I think that would sound like crap imo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Catch Can and Oil Change Interval Question

It’s a range. I believe the algorithm looks at lots of things to estimate oil life. Temperature, number of start stops, driving habits, city vs highway miles, etc. mine goes off around 7500-8000 miles but I never wait until the light comes on. I generally change it between 5000 and 6500 but I...

    “Surging” under WOT

Is it like a shift flare, like it’s overreving when you expect it not to? You would also feel a loss of acceleration during the shift flare if that’s what it’s doing. There were also TSBs for the 2020 trans. Might want to make sure they were done. Might be your dime at this point, not sure...

    Transmission Flush

Not a fan of flush on any vehicle. In your case I would suggest a double drain and fill. Drop pan, reinstall, fill with fluid. Drive around for 15 minutes then do it again. Fresh fluid should help but if it’s slipping bad it won’t fix it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    FS FS: Thermal 3” exhaust

I don’t think so. I think they both would fit off the DPs if you cut some of the DP on the passenger side. Don’t think there is a difference if the resonators are not symmetric in installation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wheel weights

Only once had a tape on weight fall off many moons ago. Had the wheels balanced in winter and one weight fell off. I use Discount Tire for free balance and rotations the last 20+ years. They clean the wheel with solvent and use a blow dryer or heat gun to warm up the wheel if it’s cold out...

    Resonator Advice Please

    Resonator Advice Please

Just a follow up. The bottle style were a tight slip on fit. I only had to cut the midpipes. One fit to the DP on one side and the other fit from the midpipe to the Thermal resonator. I would guess that you would need to cut some of the DP to fit the ultra quiet resonators. Also, no problem...
