What is everyone doing for wheel cleaning?

Wanting to know what products, tools and methods everyone is using.

I love my wheels but the intricacy of the spokes is becoming a pain! Also, with the offset that a lot of us run, is anyone cleaning the inside of the wheels? I reach through and wipe mine down but wonder if there is an easier way. I will say that running 22's in lieu of the stock 21's gives you some extra room between the rim and caliper which I appreciate

A wheel brush like a Wheel Wooly is pricy but definitely worth it. I would use waterless wash like Purple Slice (my favorite) and a clean wheel Wooly, if it is just brake dust. When it was dirty from rain or snow, I would rinse the wheel, foam it, rinse again, foam and clean with another wheel Wooly while foam is on there, rinse again, wipe down by hand (the worst part), air blow the rims with leaf blower (to get all the hidden water out) and do final dry wipe. That is what I do when I have time. If I’m lazy I’ll just do water less wash and wheel Wooly. I use DiyDetail Incredible Suds for the foam. Great product.

I reach through the spokes with a microfiber to wash the barrel and calipers. My spokes are easy to hand wash though…that’s one of my “must haves” when picking a wheel.

I thought about the spokes on mine when picking these wheels then convinced myself it wouldn't be that hard. Mistake! Lol

Meguires wheel and tire cleaner bought by the gallon for $22 on Amazon prime days and I put it in my own spray bottle. Wheel wooly and a microfiber hand wash mit. Works great. In between I use car wash soap. Wheels and truck coated with McKees sio2 ceramic coating. Nothing sticks or gets very dirty ever.

I just tried Wheely Clean and it works great. Cuts through the brake dust and grime really well. It's a tad expensive but it works great. Especially on built up grime. That and a bendable wheel wooly gets the job done.

mequires gold car wash and a micro fiber towel and a soft baby brush if needed on the 22 f150
so i imagine this new pony will be the same same

Can't say enough good things about the Wheel Wooly, its magic tool for cleaning them.

I've just been foaming, pressure washing, leaf blower drying but they don't get fantastically clean. Used a nylon bristled brush once and it appears to have left fine scratches on the wheels.

Are the wheel woolies that much better than the 1/3 priced versions on Amazon?

Yah nylon will scratch the wheels. Wheel Woolies are the best. Tried some knock off ones and they were not as soft and got extremely dirty easily.

I bought one of the ExoForma flexible ones off Amazon that works great. You just have to keep it clean after every use. I stay on top of my wheels too so the grime doesn’t build up which will muck up any brush.
