I installed Eibach lowering springs on my ST a week ago. I'd rate them a solid 10/10. Installation was not difficult and can be done with a jack stands, a good socket set, a couple of torx bits, locking pliers, spring compressors, and a pry bar. Follow Unbroken's advice for the rear springs.

First thing you will notice is the stance........it looks aggressive. I thought about buying the Steeda springs because my Mustang pretty much has the entire Steeda catalog on it and it tracks well, but I did not like the rake their Explorer springs give.

My fiance and I just took a road trip from Oklahoma City, OK to Compton AR for some good hiking. The ride quality is better than stock. No more "floaty" feeling on the highway and when we hit the hilly, curvy roads between Huntsville and Compton, it stayed flat through the turns. If I had a nickel every time she said "Honey.....its 45 here and you are doing 70!" then I could buy a rear sway bar.

If you are considering lowering springs, I highly rate these. Install is not as intimidating as you might think and it is well worth the $350.

Good to hear. I have some sitting in my garage for months now. I'm just too lazy to get out in the cold and get it done. Any pics?

Sounds like you spring install went well, any alignment issues?
Why do people still ask this? There are no alignment issues with any drop spring on the market….there are only bad alignment shops.

Good to hear. I have some sitting in my garage for months now. I'm just too lazy to get out in the cold and get it done. Any pics?

Front or Rear? I don't think you need them, just makes it easier to adjust. I installed them on the rear end. Struggling to dial in the Rear Alignment. That's why I asked.

If your are looking to get -.5 camber on your alignment, you will need them in the front or notch the bolt holes. The rears will line up without anything.

As stated by @UNBROKEN you just need a good alignment shop. If they're any good they can get it within factory specs without anything extra and if they tell you that you need camber bolts you just need to find another shop.

Just the opposite with me, front no issues, back -2.0 is the best I can do. Pre spring install, was -1.4 in the back. New car with just 2500 miles. Doing it myself, not that complicated.

My alignment shop was able to get the front close, but not to the -.5 i was asking for. It was still in spec but not to what I asked for until modification were done. I'd like to think they are good. They brought me out in the shop and showed me everything they were doing.

OK thanks, will try the rear end again this weekend, hoped it could be aligned without modifications but I don't think that's the case.

You didn’t need anything at all on the front or rear. That’s long established fact. The rear will come out to roughly -.5° using nothing but the factory adjustment.

That's the one that I'm adjusting, loosened all to other bolts to see if that would help, but the best I can do is -2.0.
Then you’re either on bottomed out coilovers or you did something wrong.

Could not move the rear without the cam bolt, wonder if they are limiting my adjustment range, will try without them.

Those stupid cam bolts mount right in the slot for the factory adjustment. Dumbest design I’ve ever seen.

Thanks, Never thought of using those slots for adjusting, no wonder I could not adjust without the cam bolts.
