I installed a Stage 3 chip and the difference is very noticeable.

Your butt dyno is flawed. That product is a complete scam. I suppose it's getting 4-6 more MPG (according to product literature)? I'm sorry you got taken by snake-oil.

Exactly, this so-called ODBII "tuning chip " is yet another in a long line of Chinese scams: Thornton Chip Review
Additionally, the address listed on the Thornton Web site is a UPS drop/mail store. If that's not confidence inspiring, I'm not sure what is.
