Maybe it hasn’t been hot/cold enough yet. But does the Remote start turn on your heated/cooled seats (& to the 1/2/3 intensity level needed)? Remote Start does the temperature in the vehicle only, right?

My 2017 Dodge Charger Scat Pack would look at the temperature outside/inside the vehicle and auto enable the heated/cooled seats (to level 1 or 2 - defendant on the heat difference) when necessary.

Yeah, it does on mine, sometimes. I think it's like you said, it controls it based on the outside temp.

That's good news. Thank you for confirming.

And it also turns on the rear window defogger. I hate that.
You need to set it up in settings For the seats but there’s no option for the rear defogger; it just comes on based on temp.

I'll look again through the seat settings. Thank you.

As for the rear defogger, I don't see the problem.
If it's on when it's needed, great.
If it's on when it's not needed, how does it bother you? Is it the light on the console that is upsetting?
It'll turn itself off (without really being noticeable to anyone) after a short period of time. Kind of a nice feature, thanks for the info. This should be listed under 'Name ONE ST Feature others may not know....'

Easy there, who said I was upset? I certainly haven’t lost any sleep over my rear defogger. I hate my auto off/start feature too and yes, I turn it off every time I think about it when I start the engine. GM has an ongoing problem with their rear defoggers coming on automatically and shattering the rear glass. I guess I don’t like things coming on when they don’t need to be on. Maybe I need help LOL!

Fair point.

If my rear window shattered while sitting on a hot day due to the rear defogger 'automatically' coming on, I WOULD use the word HATE when I drove up to the service department at Ford. :ROFLMAO::LOL:
