Greetings. John from the Twin Cities and I just did a "trade-in" on four-month-old silver for white, with the help of Ford's RAV team. Fingers crossed with this one.

After a couple years in an RX-350 I realized I needed a bigger-boy vehicle and figured it would be a Telluride or, maybe, a Palisade. After being told to wait in line in order to pay sticker I decided to try the ST and fell in love. It even covered me for a mid-life crisis. Despite with the issues I had, barely 12 hours after taking delivery, I never seriously considered a repurchase and move to another make.

I'm satisfied with the performance so I'm not anticipating getting an intercooler or tune but there is one thing I know is getting upgraded - some speakers and a couple amps. It's been a pleasure getting to know some of you in the forum and I sincerely appreciate the laid-back, helpful demeanor everyone brings to the discussions. I hope this introduction finds you and yours in good spirit and health.

I can't stress enough how much I like the ST's looks, spacious cabin and fun-to-drive factor. As much as I wanted to justify jettisoning Ford and buy something different, I couldn't. Between an ESP and class action lawsuits (ha ha), I'll plow through any issues that pop up. The one vehicle I skipped during my initial shopping was an MDX so I gave it a spin. Wasn't even off the lot when I knew the test drive was wasted time - way more cramped and their tech looks like I went from a PS4 to an Atari 2600 although I will say the ELS stereo is awfully nice.
