Bought it on Saturday and decided to take a road trip on Sunday. At about 75mph it started making a flapping/fluttering noise. Pulled over and crawled under the from to see that the felt oil pan cover was missing some clips that was causing it to catch air and make that noise. While I was under there I noticed a lot of grease splatted around the drivers side half-shaft need the rotor. My heart sunk. Brought it back to the Dealer Monday for a 2.5 day stay and got it back yesterday. Hoping this is not a sign to the future she will be gone.

Really excited about doing some go fast mods but now a bit worried about the durability.

Sorry to hear that your explorer started off with some issues. Hopefully this is not the case in the future. My 2021 just hit 17,000 miles this week and so far I have only had a few issues. I've had a couple speaker rattling (this was something I noticed the day after leaving the dealer but has since been fixed) and on two occasions the car lost boost while in the middle of giving it full throttle, the first time it happened the car went back to normal immediately, the second time it took about a day before the car started acting normal again. Other than that I've loved every second with my explorer.
