Hey folks, my name is Paul, just bought a star white ST with the street package. So far I love it! Borla exhaust, bomba bov and UPR catch can coming in the near future. Had to drive a 100 miles to find it, that was the closest dealer that had what me and the wife wanted. Just gave it its first bath tonight. Traded in my 17 f350 platinum crew cab dually 6.7. I basically got an even trade. Wanted a three row suv, and the ST checked all my needs. I used to need my truck to tow my camper, but that was crushed by a tree over the winter due to high winds, decided not to get another camper. The Explorer is more useful. We drive quite a bit, as my 14 yr old daughter was diagnosed with cancer last July. We travel 80 miles each way to Dana Farber for her treatments. We had to use my wifes Civic, as its better on gas and smaller than the truck, and parking is a pain in Boston. Good news is that she's done at the end of the month, she's cancer free. She battled hard, and would like a family vacation to Florida to visit her favorite aunt. We want to take long family road trips, and having the three rows in a sporty SUV for two kids and pets is much more practical than a huge diesel dually. We also now have the extra seating to take family with us and my kid's friends. I love how the ST looks, drives and how fun it is. Its not a boring cross over, and was excited when it was released. Glad they are rwd based again. The Expedition Stealth package was the other choice, but parking in Boston when we go to hangout and visit for the day is quite the challenge finding a parking spot. Hope to meet some cool folks and find out great info on here. Ok, done rambling now.

Welcome and congrats to your daughter on her victory!
Nice choice on your ST, but I’m biased LOL! The ST is a great performing SUV; pretty easy to forget that you’re driving an SUV too. I come from a long line of performance cars, the last being a ZO6. Just got my wife a new BMW X4 M because she wanted a faster car than mine, and yes, it is.
The ST is a nice ride....you’ll like it. Good call on the UPR catch can. Good quality piece.

Welcome to the forum. You picked a great car. I'm happy to hear about your little girl beating cancer. We went through that 7 years ago but didn't get the result we prayed for. Best of luck to you in the future.
