Hey all! Considering placing an order with Chapman Ford. Can anyone inform me if this is 4% under invoice like people have been talking about? Thanks so much!

I ordered from Chapman in PA. They provided the invoice price, then the 4% off.
The paperwork you show says MSRP.
What is the "Government Fee"?

hmm that’s a good question I didn’t even get that far in communication yet to see what the “government fee” was. I will ask. Which Chapman in PA did you buy from? I see there are 3

Same here, Horsham was the only one offering that deal and below invoice is only on customer ordered vehicles.

Have either of you guys above taken delivery of your ST yet from Chapman?
Just wondering if it went smoothly.
It is a great deal in this climate and I am almost waiting for some shenanigans when it comes in.
With all the BS dealers in my area it will be a breath of fresh air if they honor the agreement and go through with the sale at that price, but I am prepared for the worst, as it has happened before.

If you go to the website you get a pop up for the 4% under invoice. If you click on that you can send an Email inquiry.
It was all very straight forward with no games. As I said above though, we will see what happens when the vehicle comes in.

I took delivery of mine, no trouble, everything was straight up and even the finance manager was a straight shooter. I would 100% buy another vehicle from them.

I would just say make sure you go over the car completely including making sure all your windows, seats etc work before you take delivery. I had a window that didn't work from the factory. It was raining the day I picked up so I didn't think to check

Thank you for the reply. Yes, with all the problems I read about I plan to go over it as best I can.

Eta on my delivery is 2/04. But I don’t expect any fuckery. Chapmans 4% under deal is pretty well known if the ford community. The only complaint I’ve heard of was from an idiot that accused them of trying to scam them on a maverick deal. Turns out the customer was wrong and was handling it like a child. Chapman canceled their order altogether after the accusation

They sure do nail you with fees. Only $237 for ceramic coating? Something is fishy about that.

Yeah Jersey does not have any laws limiting dealership fees, so lots of them tack on tons of crap.

I would bet that ceramic coating is a bottle of spray on turtle wax ceramic (or something similar) after they do the PDI wash. While the turtle wax product isnt bad (I use it on my wifes leased vehicles) its NOT a real ceramic coating. There is no chance a dealer is doing even basic paint prep and applying a real ceramic coating for that price.

Did your 4% under invoice deal include the 1k off for ordering or was that in addition to?

When I placed my order, they were actually only offering 3% below invoice, not 4%, but I got the $1000 custom order discount in addition to a starting price of 3% below invoice.

I heard about the $1000 off for a custom order a while ago but nothing was mentioned at the dealership so I thought it was no longer in effect. Would anyone know?

This is off the Ford website right now... its been the same since I placed my order back in Sept.. so I would guess it should apply to your order.
