Had and unfortunate encounter with a shard of glass and my front drivers side tire on he interstate just outside Front Royal, Virginia. Happened on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Tire pressure warning went off and alerted me of loss of pressure in plenty of time to avoid rim damage. Was able to make it to an off ramp and down to a flat quiet are to put on the spare. This was the first time the spare has seen the light of day. What air was in the spare was what was installed at the factory. Problem was it was only 10 lbs. Located the closest tire shop in Front Royal that was open, and was able to make the 4 miles to get there. My bad situation turned much better. The guys at Advanced New and Used Tires were fantastic. They removed the tire from the rim with out a scratch and assessed the damage like an open heart surgeon. They apologized for not having a new tire to replace my damaged one but told me the puncture did not cause any belt damage and they could patch it from the inside. They took the tire to a work area where they removed all the debris from the tire and tread, then applied the patch. They assured me it would get me home, which it did (400 mi, new tire on order). Balanced the tire, mounted and then checked all the other tires for damage and air pressure. The shocker came when they gave me the bill. I was blown over with the fairness of the price. So much so I added a significant amount to spring for lunch for the crew.

If anyone is in the Front Royal area on travel or as a home, please look these guys up. It is a small proprietor owned business with unbelievable service. They moved me ahead of a couple local customers to get me back on the road. I can't say enough about the quality of this company. Only wish they were closer to Charlotte. Secondly, everyone, if you haven't already, check the air pressure in your spare!

Good to hear a positive post about customer service. There are a lot of good companies out there but we tend to hear more posts about the not so good. Thanks for sharing your experience,
