To those who ordered your ST how long did it take for it to be delivered to the dealer?

Thanks!

Ordered mine on January 15th (well they submitted it a week later). I was told at that time it is an 8-12 week wait, approximately, and so far I haven't even been given a VIN or a build date or any other updates so I believe them when they forecast the 8-12. Someone else I know who recently bought a new Ford Expedition was told it was around 100 days for a new-order car, and that was give or take about how long it took for them.

Have you checked on cars.com? There are tons of ST's available.

Did you get a VIN yet?

Did you look up your window sticker and get its build date? Just trying to figure out how long mine will take. :)

No I can't say I did. Is that a doable thing? I have not heard of that.

The build date is not on the window sticker.

When I purchased mine, the dealer stated that they don't sit long after completion. Once their built and put on the lot as completed, the dealer gets invoiced pretty quick. That essentially tells them what cars/trucks to expect. He said delivery of those invoiced vehicles take no more than two days when coming from Chicago into S. Ontario.

After a week of owning it, I needed to go back to get a few extras incentives that were promised with my deal. I asked the GM to look up my build date (purchased Feb 12th, delivery Feb 15th). He told me he received 3 ST's the last week of January. They had been on the lot for less than two weeks before I purchased mine.

I found my VIN's details on the white tag on the bottom side drivers door. Mine is a 01/20 build. B-VIN, no issues with 1,200km, 4 weeks old.

The actually turn around time for a brand new build, I'm not sure on. My guess is it could take 6-8 weeks.

Did the dealership tell you how long a new build from start to finish would take? I think if I were purchasing something from a catalog as a new build, the first question to them would be, how long?

I was told 8-12 weeks, I’ve heard others say 100 days.

Placed my Atlas Blue order in June, just to find out yesterday that my sales guy (dropped the ball) and was told it won’t be until late November.

They did however get a shipment of several Agate Black back in July. There’s still 1 left factory fresh that I’m highly considering.

Not surprising. There was a great deal of ball dropping with my experience as well. Still going on actually, 6 weeks later I still haven’t seen something I’m due to receive as part of my negotiations.

Really?!?! What’s that if I may ask... did this pandemic hit them hard or are they just not organized

Complicated story, but the simple version is that I negotiated 4 free seasonal tire changeovers along with my sale, and they told me they would cut me a cheque for the equivalent amount but it has not materialized.
