"Lord Vader your car is ready" ------------> Enough said.. Who would not release the beast of this legend? I wish I still had my 87 GNX.(My much older brother was partners in a Buick Dealership and I paid Invoice).. Like an idiotic 24 year old kid, 5 years later and @ 25K miles, I traded keys with the owner of my local Chevy Dealer for a brand new 93 Corvette Convertible 40th Anniversary Edition. At that time, no one had any idea what this legend would be worth 3 decades later. I was at Barrett Jackson three years ago and watched a GNX with 12,000 miles go for $120K and a 93 Corvette Convertible 40th Anniversary Edition sell for $9K with 8000 miles. Ouch! :-(. As a 51 year old man, I wish I can go slap some sense into the 24 year old me. I still get upset to this day and my brother still ribs me about trading my partial retirement away. Who knew?

56 mile car...amazing! That detailer knows his stuff. Wonder what happened to the car, and how much he got for it.

I follow the collector car market quite intensively. A car of that caliper and low mileage would easily fetch 100 Grand Plus.

I never owned an "X" but had 5 - 87 GN's and 1 - 86 all under 20,000 mile originals. Also an 89 20th Anniversary TTA with the same motor.
79 10th Anniversary TATA, 71 Trans Am 455 H.O. / 4 Speed, and many 5.0 Mustangs.

Had a new 87 GT when a car I "thought" was a black cutlass wax my a$$ from 0-??? We pulled over and I was introduced to the Grand National and have been hooked every since. I love the thump of that 455 but nothing like that twisted 6 when you hit the fun pedal ;). Went to Bowling Green, KY several years to Beach Bend Raceway for the GS Nationals. I have many pictures on here somewhere if I can find them. Ty

Few pictures from our trip in 2009. Both boys are married now, with 1 grand daughter.

I am happy the Gen 3 Camaro and Trans am are coming into their own in the collector car market. Guys are restoring these cars to OE spec and doing rotisserie restorations. Growing up I loved the dark blue Trans Am with t-tops and the saddle interior. It was my dream car as a teenager and unfortunately I never owned one. The white Trans Am you speak of is a legend and absolutely breathtaking. My family has always been in car dealerships and I was fortunate enough to own a Typhoon and Syclone. I wish I had the Syclone today. The Typhoon was a bit funny looking but the Syclone was sick. Unfortunately both of mine had the legendary 55 mph vibration that GMC never got down to the bottom of. At 55 mph it had a weird center chassis vibration.

I had taken delivery of my C6 Corvette at Bowling Green. It was fun but I would never do it again.
