At 71 still into fast vehicles, and speed. Moved back to the Midwest after many years out east. Drag raced a 90 Mustang notch back up and down the east coast, ran 9.90’s at 135. Drag strips in northwest Wisconsin suck, so sold it and learned to fly. I’m a Ford guy, so have had several mustangs, and even an early mercury cougar. When I test drove the ST I told my wife it reminded me of my 06 Mustang GT but on steroids.

I currently have a C4 Vette , built LT1 .
I'll be selling it in the spring as my adrenaline rush will be satisfied by the ST. Small town loud pickup trucks and high schoolers will still get schooled :giggle:

Well I couldn't stand that front license plate frame on the bumper.
So I drilled out the plastic rivets and that left 3 holes.
Temporary I had some white rubber caulk that I molded into the white holes , smoothed it over with my finger . You can't even see it.
The black one I got pushbuttons coming .
White ones too.
But if the could stays put may just stay with it...perfect match.

Ah, the Geezer Gearhead forum - nice! I'm 73 now and have been a car nut my entire life. I started with a 56 Studebaker Hawk in high school. I got my ST a year ago when they first came out and I love it. My summer driver is a 65 2+2 (below). I used to autocross my Lightning and I'm thinking of trying the ST. It doesn't corner like a Miata but I'll bet it would be fun. I want to try the ST Experience if Ford starts it up again.

You'll love the ST Experience, and you'll be very surprised with what these things can do.

Subscribed, I come from a family of Performance Car / Truck enthusiasts for a long time. When I get home this week I will post a few of mine. Everything from 455 HO Pontiacs to Grand Nationals, to Mustangs and about anything in between. Big Power stroke and Cummins fan as well, I do those with my oldest son its his passion. Ty

I am 52, if that is Geezer qualified lol

I'll join the "Geezers" club. I turn 63 at the end of the month. Retired from Ford Lima Engine after 31 years last March. Never worked on the 2.7 /3.0 side, but on most of the other lines. Was born and raised GM and didn't buy Fords until I started working for them. The ST is the wife's car. I drive a F150. DSC01221 (3).JPG

I took mine out this past weekend and made sure I got some of the old carbon out. I love driving this thing.

Seems to be several Geezer Gearheads here that still have fast, muscle , big powerful cars in their blood.
I personally wonder if it's in my genes.
At 74 I still love to feel that , push you into the seat , feeling.
I love the sound of power from the 3 dueces (progressive linkage), 2 quads roaring.

I have had my share, of muscle cars.
GTO, Mustang, Chevelle , Superbee .
I have a built Vette now with built LT1. I also have a 2005 Ram 2500 modified and tuned 5.9 Cummins.
Only one I have a picture of is the Vette , Ram ,and the Superbee.

Now I'm wanting a ST for family daily use and fun also.

Some of you other Geezers tell us about being a gearhead.

Jim
Nice lineup. I think I will be the same way in 25 years :). By the way, nice touch with the American Flags. Patriotism enhances the beauty of any vehicle.
