I have a 2020 ST with extended service plan and my right front headlamp has started to breakdown or craze as the dealer referred to it. Ford ESP will not cover as considered "cosmetic" and not a functional issue. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Dealer quoted over $3300 to replace and Ford loyalty assist offered $1300 towards repair. Not willing to spend $2k at this point to replace headlamp. Online suggestions include headlamp restoration by a detailing shop. Would appreciate if anyone else has input on this issue.

How bad is it? Share a pic maybe. eBay would be your best bet if you have to go the replace route.

If it's only on the outside, there are treatments you can use to remove it. If it's within the plastic itself, then you're S-O-L !!!

If it's not leaking, I'd leave it be.

The 3M kit and drill attachment work miracles on outside issues. Just takes patience and elbow grease.
