That’s pricey. Im happy with my cheap $40 Rexing V1P dashcam. Its a little large, but hides behind the rear view mirror and radar detector well. IMG_5550.jpeg IMG_5549.jpeg

Is anyone using one of these? I like how it blends in and looks very OE. The online reviews seem pretty good, but I'm wondering if anyone has firsthand experience. https://fitcamx.com/collections/for.../fitcamx-dash-cam-for-ford-explorer-2011-2023
I purchased Fitcamx for my 2025 Ram 2500.
Works really well and looks factory.
Video quality is excellent.
I would highly recommend.
I’m going to get one for my wife’s 2023 ST soon.

I just installed the Mangoal Front 4K & Rear 1080p Dash Cam for Ford Explorer U625. Mine is the Model D, so it came integrated with the whole cover above the rear-view mirror. Although Mangoal took no shortcuts with the optional wiring they supply, I would advise connecting to the OBD port, down below (to the left of) the steering column. The OBD (On-board diagnostics) port is the only way you are going to have constant power to the Dash Cam. The reason that is important is if you
want it to monitor your Explorer while sitting in the parking lot at Walmart. It can only see forward and backward of course, but it's better than nothing.
If you're concerned about it draining your battery, don't. Mangoal has thought of that too. They have set it to automatically shut off if the battery gets below a certain point. I think it's 11.69v. If your battery just happens to be nearing the end of it's life, let me suggest getting the next battery with a few more CCA's (Cold Cranking Amps) than the last one. I always found that the life of a battery was directly related to it's CCA's and not all the silly little writing they put on it to make you feel like you're getting a great battery for a great deal. Size and CCA's are what matter. Will it fit and can I depend on it to start.
