This was at 11k miles, factory unit. Replaced with a better quality filter.

Something that I have noticed on this vehicle in areas I have taken apart, is the build quality issues. Just replacing the cabin filter I noticed a foam grommet for a wire harness just hanging there. This allowed the harness to chafe on the sheet metal as the grommet was not installed. I corrected it just like many other issues I have found when doing the intercooler and pulling apart areas of the interior. The only other brand I have had this type of build quality issues with is Nissan.

Filter I repaced the factory unit with: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNB15ZM9?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

29,000 on the wife’s EcoSport. I’ll set the car on fire before replacing the filter again.
