Good day everyone, I own a 23' ST, looking to add my first mods, I have a question though, if I want to change out the OEM hot and cold charge pipes, would I then have to add an BOV.. I may be the minority with this opinion, but I really don't are for BOV, do I even have a choice if I replace the Hot and Cold charge pipes?

You don’t have to run a BOV, especially on these setups. A lot of people stick with the OEM system and upgrade charge pipes without any issues.

The bigger thing to watch isn’t just the parts, it’s how everything behaves once you’re actually under load. That’s where you start seeing differences in how boost and timing respond depending on the setup.

If you’re just starting out, I’d focus on getting a solid baseline first before adding too many variables at once.”
