Hi everyone. Within a month of receiving our 2026 Explorer ST, I have experienced the drivers window regulator failing TWICE. The first time it occurred with less than 200 miles and only a few days after delivery. Our Ford dealer was super at getting it fixed and getting me a loaner. They mentioned it is a common failure. I have had a variety of Ford's and I have never once experienced this particular part failing. Then today the replacement part broke AGAIN! Leaving me with a 1/2 open window...thank god it wasn't pouring rain. Today the dealer was able to get the window back up manually and keep it shut as they are ordering the part to come in tomorrow. Has anyone else had this part fail to this extent and frequency? Both times it has been the drivers window. To tell you the truth I am getting a little gun shy of these windows. I am planning on doing road trips with my ST and this issue could put a major damper on a road trip (rain, security, etc.). Anyone have any helpful insight? Thanks.

That's pretty weird that you'd have two of them fail in such a short time period. I've got over 8K miles on my '25 ST and have no problems with the window regulators so far. In fact, out of the dozen vehicles I've owned since 1974 the only ones that had a problem with the window regulator was an '89 Nissan Maxima SE and it was only once and the other a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP in which all four regulators failed over the 11 years that I owned it. Good luck with getting a final resolution.
