My 2025 st has been at dealer for almost a week. Locked up the breaks by itself. Abs module bad. Part on backorder may be 2 weeks or 2 months. Frustrating having a new vehicle and can't even drive it.

That sucks! These parts should not have that much of a backorder time! C'mon Ford!

That’s unfortunate. Had a similar problem on our old 2021 Hybrid company car.

That’s ridiculous! I just bought new Ford Motorcraft TPMS sensors off eBay and had them in 4 days! Buy your own, bring it to them and make them reimburse you.

This is our second explorer in the past 2 years. Our last one was the Kingranch model and just thought I would post that our 2025 ST with 10k miles is also having trouble with the ABS module and has been sitting at the dealership for over a week. I hated that vertical screen in the Kingranch and when I noticed Ford went to the horizontal screen I wanted a new explorer. Decided to go with the ST this go around but can't stand the lame looking instrument cluster. You would think they would have a sportier looking display for the ST... hoping for an update on this. Luckily we have a good relationship with our dealer and they gave us a new Bronco Sport as a loaner. Even this loaner Bronco Sport has a more aggressive cluster display with the tach and speedometer than the ST. As of today 11/13/25 Ford does not have a solution for the ABS problem. The service advisor stated it could be weeks or months. Our ABS module has completely failed causing a Christmas tree of indicator lights in the instrument cluster. The car still drives but none of the major features work.. power assisted steering, power brakes or ABS, camera system, lane assist or departure warnings, cruise control or blue cruise, traction control etc... The ABS module communicates with 90% of the features. Actually surprised the radio still worked LOL.
