Kinda petty but would this be covered under warranty?

2025 ST, just hit 600 miles on it today and I noticed this on my passenger door while cleaning up the interior. Would this be covered under warranty? I know it seems somewhat petty but im thinking of how bad it may look down the road in 5-6 years and with it being new I cant justify not being picky on something I just spent over $50k on. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thought of pulling the B&O speaker cover myself and retucking it with a little adhesive but not crazy about doing that

I’d push it back in with a trim tool or a smooth butter knife first. That grille is held in place with folded tabs and isn’t as easy to get off as you might think. If tucking it back in doesn’t last just have them replace the door panel.

I'd warranty it. I don't think it's petty. $60K vehicle and the door panel is already peeling. Do it now while the vehicle is relatively new

Yeah dealing with dropping off and such is a PITA and i'd be tempted to DIY but if it fails more further down the road, the dealer may have more of a leg to stand on in calling it wear and tear.

When deciding on any warranty work, ask yourself if the fix is worth the dealer messing something else up. In most cases, if you can fix it yourself, do it!

Tuck it back in, see if it holds. Probably not, but worth a shot. How often do you have a passenger? That may have happened due to the door handle being pulled on. If that's the case it will probably happen again.

I would agree with you on getting the dealer to fix it on a brand new vehicle under warranty and think most brands would cheerfully do so, but my experience with my Ford dealer suggests otherwise. I had a clip break or fall off on the inside grab handle of the driver's door on my '25 ST. The service department told me that I would have to leave the ST with them for 2 weeks with no loaner, they would have to disassemble the entire door (to make sure other parts weren't needed), then submit a claim to Ford to authorize the warranty work (because otherwise the dealership might have to "eat the cost") and only then would it get repaired. I couldn't believe it so just did a little Google and YouTube searching, found the part on Amazon, got it the next day and installed it in 30 seconds at the cost of less than $2. Your dealer might have a more accommodating service department but the advice of others here to DIY might be the way to go. Good luck.

Googled it and found the purge valve was right on top and easy to access. $60 part and swapped in 10 mins. I'm at the point in my life where my time and convenience is more valuable to me than $$ so that was an easy decision to make.
