I normally leave things like this stock (do not rebadge or debadge); however, the lettering on the hood keeps grabbing my cloth when waxing or detailing. I like the look of the lettering, but you would think they would have done something less sharp and protruding.

I just ordered an oem front and rear badge in matte black with white gloss lettering. Should look great on my white ST. Will post a pic once completed

I have changed the rear to a matte black but havent done the front. Can you please post pictures on how to get access to the front? That would be helpful for all.

eBay. Sellers name Is downatthebuilding . All parts are genuine Ford oem emblems. He can do any color combination you’d like. I went with a matte black w/ white gloss lettering. You can search his store by vehicle and year. If you don’t see the color combination you’d like just shoot him a message and he’ll fix you up.

Huge pain (I’m told). I had my custom shop do it for 50 bucks (Front and back) You have to remove the grill to get at the bolts. Rear is easy, just heat it up and pop it off.

Kinda figured the grill would be a pain. I started to remove mine and decided I would probably break something so I decided to take the easy way out and do an overlay on existing badges. Thanks!

I just got a set and did my rear yesterday and have been looking at the front trying to figure out the best way to get to the back of the oval. Hope to figure it out today.

The pieces I got are from oemautoart.com. Quality is first rate for sure. I got the rear put on and included an image. The front looks to be a bit more of a job. After looking online, I found a vid of a how to remove the front bumper cover of the police interceptor model. This looks like the only way to access the rear. If anyone has removed the front oval before, I would love to hear how you did it. The vid I found is here

Did you ever get the front figured out? I ordered emblems from the same seller you did and am waiting for them to arrive. My plan as of now is to pry it back enough to get a thin hacksaw blade in there and just cut the two bolt tabs and then just attach the new one with 3M tape and forget about the bolts on the back

Tried overlays and just wasn't happy with the way they looked up close so bit the bullet and paid the these.

I'm doing the blacked out rebadge from the same vendor for my blacked out ST. Probably going to have a body shop replace the front one, they have better glues... (ha)

Yesterday, I got my new front badge installed. Took about two hours so the shop estimate of $250.00 might not have been off by too much. It wasn't too hard just time consuming. The video that I posted it pretty spot on. There are maybe 20 screws and eight push pins that need to come out to remove the front assembly. I would suggest purchasing a push pin removal tool as it really make getting the pins out much easier.
